I honestly believe there was a designer change sometime around 2019-2020. I don't have any evidence to support this theory, just my tinfoil hat and some stories.

Er, no. If it had ventral fins, you couldn't really see them at that angle. (or maybe, just see like an edge peaking out)

 

Ohh ventral fin is the fin on the underside of the tail mb. Because a lot of photo just show the rear fin.

 

Is this a serious question? The designer is an individual worker (weibo link below) and "clearly" doesn't work for FT. He designed TE mirage.

Sucks... looks like Blitzwing may have a mid April release... That is what someone asked on a update on the showz section. Showz doesn't think it will relase in March but mid April. If that is the case... I may end up getting on my birthday.... yay?

Well mine was paid in full once the full price was reveled. Just playing the waiting game on my end.

For some of us that were waiting for Berzerk, I feel we can afford to wait one more month for this one. I know thats how I feel anyway. Considering when he was announced, a March release did seem a bit crazy, so a bump one month is acceptable in my opinion. Thats a damn sight better than the years wasted waiting on Fans Toys.

 

I'd push it one month further than that if it meant additional improvements and a second check on QC.

Put in a preorder last night on a whim, it says March 2023, does anyone know how likely that is?

 

As a general rule of thumb for me is if showz store is taking full payment for a figure its 2-4 weeks away. And if you pre-ordered with them and they ask for balance payment then its usually within 2 weeks that they get it and ship it. Pretty sure they do this when they get notice of impending shipment from factory or some other communication.

Otherwise in my experience most release dates are worth nothing till you see actual evidence of the release. Preview/review videos, full color photos of packaging etc...

Showz also tends to change the release date if it does not look like it will make the posted one. Right now they have March and are taking full payment. So I would guess it will either makes March or the beginning of April.

The one notable exception for this is Fans Toys and I think MMC (don't buy a lot of MMC). These companies prioritize foreign markets first over China. So they release in the states before China.
