Yeah, nylon is more flexible than abs but has that cheap feel to it. But the pros are it bends instead of snapping off.
So it's more of playability vs collectability.

Funny enough I've also found na's stuff to be far more playable than ms. Despite playing guitar for years ms devy still shredded my fingers and made me want to never touch it again while na devy is fun. Their flexible plastic leads them to transformations that require that flexibility, which are usually painful. See pulling ms megs' arms out of his chest. Feels horrendous

I've had this exact finger shredding problem (another guitar player here) with a few different X Transbots figures.

I only play 32nd notes drenched in delay and reverb... and nothing shredded my fingers quite like ToyWorld Constructor.

Now I'm imagining Ronnie James DIO singing for My Bloody Valentine.

And the result does nothing to put this thread back on topic.

I use those too. They're rounded off to prevent scratching, plus the curve acts as a fulcrum.

Hopefully Star Toys will announce the release soon. It's obvious that it's getting boring.

I'm loathe to use metal---even fingernails can dig into plastic. I hate little divots/dings around the edges of a part. Nylon spudgers only for me.

Those are designed to work on our soft, squishy ears, but I do understand your apprehension.

I also use one of these! Well, not this one in particular. I actually use a pointy plastic tool that came with my soldering iron and I've never needed to use it for soldering but it's a perfect spudger.

Something like this right? I used to but the pointy bit got easily bend and sometimes it's not small enough for the crevices.

The small Lego wrenches also work. They've got a flat end and a curved end.
