I am one of the most altmode-centric people on the boards, and always want a proper MiG-25-----but this is a brilliant take on the original G1 (which was one of my fave TF toys as a kid, and a replacement was the first thing I EVER bought on eBay)-----so I'm quite tempted now. I'm a sucker for a neat transformation---it's got a lot of steps, but doesn't look "fiddly" or difficult. It can't fill my "real tank/jet Blitzwing" need, but it could be good as simply as a nice G1 upgrade.

 

Good thing with a triple changer... it makes sense to have multiples.. So I am also getting Berserk for sure!

It'll probably be about 2 weeks or so. I doubt they'll be sending them out before they head away for holidays on Jan. 21. (Jan. 20th for those in North America)

 

I haven't really been following this thread, but am I the only one worried about the tiny peg shown at 3:59 that is supporting the arm, wing and tank tread?

That damn thing is never gonna come out. Either that, or they'll drop it the year an official version gets announced, like that bullshit they tried with Outrider/ Trailbreaker. And just like that situation, "too little, too late. Sorry but no thanks".

 

I mean, FT's version is still going to sell no matter what. But I can assure you their BW would have sold much more had they not taken this long and this version wasn't a thing. Same with their TB.

I bet this figure is probably a relief to Fans Toys, because clearly something is wrong with Berserk. If I were them I’d be like good, let everybody get that other one so I don’t have to keep messing with this busted ass bad idea I had that I shouldn’t have said anything about.

or at least, as somebody who has regretted telling people about good ideas once they let other people down…I mean that’s how I’d feel.

I was going to get their Trailbreaker until I saw it. It was smooth, plain and featureless. Way too boring and uninspired for my tastes.

 

Well, as much as as I'm not a fan of it the skirt flap does have a reason for being there for transformation. If I remember right Gewalt was the same way.

 

I need an MP scaled football stadium play set when this gets released. For reasons.

To be honest, I've kinda given up on it. It's been over 5yrs now and 2 versions (just like Outrider). And their "Blitzwing" isn't showing any progress.

As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to FT and their announcements, I only care now when it actually shows up. I no longer have faith in their preorders and release dates. I did get that Jazz though!
