I mean, what makes you think such a thing would be any different to this blitzwing?

My country has these everywhere. One is outside my house. In my own garden

    (i'm joking incase of confusion)

Well, if the quality wasn't good enough or they made too much, there's still a chance for price drop regardless whatever company is behind this project.

I hope more pictures go up with the bot mode posing. I want to see how much articulation is hampered (if any) by the one piece hipskirt if there's no flip up part.

It looks pretty good. But I still prefer FT aesthetics and proportions. Getting both I just hope this guy isn't back heavy

This looks pretty bang on for me in bot and tank mode.
My one concern is the purple looks very deep and rich. Would prefer something a little more pastelly/closer to violet.
Of course Purple is renowned for coming out unreliably on screens so it may be different in hand. But the colours not a deal killer for me and I’m in for at least one of these.

Beauty is subjective. Consistency to the model can be measured.

On render it's lighter violet but on prototype is deep purple. But it's not big deal for me.

So you buy real world action figures for objective consistency with a cartoon model rather than beauty of the figure itself?

I'm glad that I have my own tastes that can deviate from a (usually) poorly drawn cartoon model with objectively simple colors and basic shapes.

Wow! The first Blitzwing that can be called with a clear conscience a cartoon-accurate Blitzwing and thus a good-looking Blitzwing. That being said, the function is as follows -> Add to cart.

Robot shoulder parts can be forgotten, because Blitzwing can also be seen without them in the cartoon series. Missing those small parts isn't a big deal to me when the figure otherwise looks this good.

A great start to this year in terms of figures.

Isn't that why we are all here?

I mean, I collect because of the cartoon, not because of the ugly as-sin toys available in the 80s. I was actually mad that none of them represented the cartoon I loved. I have to assume I'm not alone here.

We buy these because we grew up watching the cartoon, no? Sure, some people like grebbles and that's cool. But the way you make it sound is that your taste in toys is superior simply because you don't enjoy flat lines and adherence to the cartoon (which this figure is).

I mean, isn't there some Grebbly Blitzwings out there for the ones that don't like this one?

    Fannnnsstoyyys, am I right?

I grew up watching the cartoon, but I don't get figures because they look like the cartoon. I get figures that I think look good - sometimes that looks like the cartoon, and most times they have added detail because I generally find flat detail-less surfaces to be boring. Even as a child I never thought that the cartoon characters were supposed to be completely smooth "in-universe" - but I realised that it was an animation that someone had to draw and putting in heaps of detail wasn't feasible.

So yeah, I get stuff because I think it's beautiful. If I don't like it then I'm not going to spend money on it. Who gets stuff they don't like just because it fits into an ideology they purport to have? If you're doing that... well, enjoy wasting your money.

After examining the new pictures, consulting with the conclave of nerds in our special bunker, and above all else: seeking the divine guidance of Sweaty Bill, The One True God Of Worcester Sauce And Transformers Stuff, I can confirm that this figure is looking absolutely splendid as of now and I am looking forward to it most keenly.

Oh, and after years of staring at Ditka and it's awful colour scheme of washed-out purple and camels-arse brown, the colours on this new guy look lovely in comparison.

I like that they went with the jet mode of the cartoon rather than the toy,
