I know that Blitzwing is based on the Mig-25, but I've always imagined him being a modified one, like how the coneheads are modified F-15's. That's why I'm puzzled why some designers are trying to make him look like the stock model.

 

Same designer also did TE prime who was mostly unpainted. Paint depends on the company not the designer.

The break-up halfway. Most modern MPs have a cover in front of the rotating piece. And have the rotation higher up. Check MP-44 as an example.

I’m aware most mps have it higher up but it’s not a deal breaker for personal to have it lower as long as it still has the same function im all good

 

It's the same issue with TE-01, the joint is there, but some people complained about the aesthetics.

 

It looks unfinished in my opinion, but if it will be aesthetically better than Ditka and on the same quality level as DS Blaster and the Seekers, I'll take it.

This looks way better. Doesn't have the goofy crotch skirt, has slanted+detailed intakes, better proportions, angled rear wings, no treads in jet mode, better tread transition into the upper hull in tank mode, etc.
