1. Is Star Convoy worth the money? 2. Can someone post pics of SC with God Ginrai(with or without GodBomber, doesnt matter to me) or Cyb Prime? 3. If you had the choice between a reissue star convoy or a reissue pepsi prime, which would you pick? Why? 4. Does Reissue Star convoy come with everything the original came with? 1. YES I found he was totally worth the money 2. I would but I don’t have Ginrei with me at school but there about the same height altthough I think God Ginrei is a tad bigger and bulkier. 3. Star Convoy hands down, I find he’s a much more impressive figure, you get so much more from Star Convoy, he’s a pretty big toy, yes he’s a brick but defiantly an impressive one, I was very suprised how good he acuatlly was when I got him, definatly better then I was expecting. He walks lol I love the electronics on this guy, got him rolling on the floor all over the place. Comes with Micromaster Hot Rod which is awesome. If you have other Micromasters he’s awesome to play around him them as well. And overall he’s just great, if you already have G1 Prime you really don’t get much from having Pepsi Prime, which though I think is still cool, if you have to choose between he and Star Convoy, Star Convoy all the way. 4. Yes I’m 99.9% sure he does, although I think the original had a straight yellow paint on the chest wile the reissue is chrome.
Oh hell yes. it's a superb reissue of a piece of TF history. I would if the digital camera wasn't in Egypt with my Mum. Pepsi Prime, but only because I already have the Star Convoy reissue. If I didn't, I'd get Star Convoy instead. Everything. RIght down to the connector to connect him to Grandus.
He's well worth the money. JRS Toyworld is clearancing them out right now for $61.99 Hell of a lot better then the original price of over $90
1: Of all the "is he worth it" questions there are for reissues. Star Convoy is one of the best anwers to all of them. With the price and rarity of the original , this reissue is pure justice 2: Sorreh, no pics 3 Star Convoy for sure. Cost more, worth more, more plastic , and you gotta admit, Pepsi wtf! Robots don't drink soda! 4- Oh yeah!
Might as well get him while he is cheap. If anything, his price will go up once stores quit clearancing Xmas stock. You can always get rid of him at the price you paid or possibly a bit more.
1. Hell yes. He may be a brick, but he's a damn pretty brick. 2. I might break mine out later tonight so I'll snap a pic or two when I do. 3. Star Convoy, no question. Pepsi Prime is little more than a Prime cab with a white stripe on his abs. 4. I think that's been covered.
I don't have Star Convoy so I can't really answer the question but, damn, you guys are writing off Pepsi Convoy a little too easily! He's in my top 5 favorite TFs right now!
