Stanley Tucci to Reprise ‘Transformers’ Role in ‘The Last Knight’ | Variety While in Deauville, Tucci confirmed his character, Joyce, the anti-hero of “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” will be back in the next installment of the franchise which has just started shooting with Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins.
Shouldn't he go to jail for murder and aiding a government official who went against direct orders by murdering Autobots when nor even the President knew?
Maybe he received a pardon? Depends on the time jump between 4 and 5. I'm glad he's back and I hope his assistant is back too. I liked her too. jD001
But remember, aliens have no rights! That's totally logical that we as humans wouldn't consider sentient intelligent life equal to ours and be just a-okay with killing them off in masses because in real life humanity only cares about humanity! '-_-
Well, neither he, or his company, have ever killed anyone. They just turned a blind eye to what Cemetery Wind did, and melted down already dead 'Bots who probably don't have rights. Heck, I don't think KSI's partnership with CW was ever even official. Sure, Josh should still be guilty of crimes, but I can't imagine it would be hard for a smart, rich businessman like him to get away.
Thought it would be entirely against his little heartwarming bit of redemtion at the end of AOE to suddenly revert back to weazeling his way out of prison time for something he deserves punishment for.
Not really. He didn't really change at the end of AOE. He was never happy with Attinger having people killed, and he only started actively helping the good guys when the whole world was at risk. Heck, even after that, he still wanted to run pedestrians over. He still looks out for number one above all else.
I guess he was one of the aspects in AOE that worked. He basically had an arc to him. I hope Tessa and Shane have moved on. Because those two were such a burden.
I liked him in AOE, looking forward to see more of the character. Maybe he'll become more of an ally to the Autobots?
I just like Stanley Tucci in general. So I suppose that's one in the plus column so far. Maybe he'll turn out to be a Blackrock type character that leads the crew to another Prime that they gotta beat the crap out of.
What Rocklord have you been hiding under? This film's early promotional material has had an unprecedented number of announcements for actual TF.
Well that is how it works in most parts of the world for our friends in the animal kingdom, and that's at least organic life from our actual planet. If Transformers were real, half of humanity would probably spend most time arguing about whether or not the Transformers are really alive or just machines, and the other half wouldn't care what happens to any of them since the one's with the purple badges decided to invade the planet so they could steal our resources and murdered millions of people in the process.
