I was at work when I heard the news... My tribute to him internally.. I hope it's not in bad taste.. but it's truly what I felt. I didn't even finish cleaning it up because I was so sad.
Like T.O.M. said when Toonami ended. "Bang." Than it came back. For all we know Stan could be chilling with The Watcher.
Simply one of my favorite people that ever was. An great man, with an awesome imagination, that never lost his child like enthusiasm for the characters and universe he created. Thank you, Stan Lee for all the Amazing memories. Rest in peace...…….......'nuff said
He lived to quite the old age - not many men live this long even these days. Rest in piece, he will be missed. I wonder if they already shot his cameos for Avengers 4 or Spiderman 2, or that the one in Venom was his last.
He had a bigger role to play for Transformers as well. Besides the fact that every Marvel G1 comicbook was "presented by Stan Lee", in the early 80's he was setting up Marvel's TV animation studios in California. He probably negotiated the contract with Hasbro and was there when the Transformers cartoon was produced. Well, at least seasons 1 and 2. I believe Sunbow took over completely as a production company on season 3. But still, Stan was probably responsible for at least hiring the people that wrote the scripts and such. He has influenced a lot of lives, gave millions of people years worth of wonderful entertainment through his creations (with the help of a slew of amazing artists of course, like Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby). Thanks for everything Stan. Excelsior!
stan lee. one of the world's greatest dream maker, shall be missed for so long....you lived a grand life, and I can only hope you have an even grander afterlife.
With so many things Mr Lee did words can't describe the loss we all feel inside. I am just shocked, sad, loss and so many more words. I never ever thought much about the impact Mr Stan Lee had till now that he's gone. I realize that hes with his wife now but dang it i would love to have Stan the man Lee back.
