It's not bad. I didn't really like the first version that much. I really like his "Dare" song though.

I think they're all raping our ears.

Yeah don't care for the rapping either. I'll be annoyed if he performs this version at Botcon and not the original.

I really don't like it! The original is much better..but then again, I understand why that wouldn't work in a 21th century movie! ;)

    Totally douchey.

Sounds like a bad ripoff of Linkin Park....

And I despise Linkin Park. :music

Nah, the only one doing any raping here is definitely Stan.

Well, Stan and Jim the Rapist, but that's just his job.

Actually, I gotta admit, I enjoyed it. Yeah, the rapper wasn't the greatest I've ever heard.

Okay, he sucked pig's bollocks, but in this age of remixing and remaking, it's an honest attempt, and I'd like a copy of it on MP3. Just so I can avoid Guitar-Guy.

    He scare me.

I've listened to 'touch' probably more than any other song ever (the tape was always in my walkman, the cd still has a permanent place in my truck, and it was one of the first things I put on my i-pod (once I figured out how to do so).... I think this new version is (best Randy Jackson impression) " 'aight" Maybe it gets Bay's attention enough that he could get back in the studio and tweek it with a different producer and maybe make it a little tighter. There were songs on the first soundtrack I probably wouldn't mind replacing with this... I dunno, I hope Bay gives him a shot at least.

Or, just go to Dictionary and Thesaurus - Merriam-Webster Online and enter the word "raping" in the provided search field.

It's not super awesome, but its better then the movie! I like the arrangement. It would've been better without the traditional "white boy rock rap".

oh god the rapping was so lulzy. :lol

The rest wasn't so great either. They can stick it in ROTF but it won't be as memorable as the original.

It was okay, until he said "you've got the touch." I'm not being trying to be rude but he's coming across as sort of desperate about how he wants this in the movie as if he still really wants to be part of TF

i miss the funky techno-ness of the original...

Of course, I always thought "Dare" was better.

As a HUGE 90's rap fan... I was a bit disappointed with the random rap guy. The rap did feel a bit heavy for that type of song, I actually would like to hear some one like Will.I.Am do the rap parts a bit more smoothly.

The song itself isn't all that bad. It's a lot less memorable than the original, though, and the rapping parts don't work as well as they probably could do. The video is a little awful -- I agree with the comments about the guitarist (he seriously does look like he's not taking it all that seriously; he's a tad "This-is-only-going-to-be-seen-by-fanboys-online"). I'm going to listen to it with my eyes closed now and see if that makes it any better.

One question: Is Stan Bush turning into Sylvester McCoy? (See attachment.)

Umm.....ok,not quite sure what I watched there. It kind of sounded like that one song from the 80s...what's the name I'm looking for..........no not "The Touch",that song sounded so much better than this.

Seriously this was horrible, the creepy dude with the guitar ruined it,I'm not even gonna call him Guitar Guy,cause that is an insult to Jeff Dunham's Guitar Guy.Don't even get me started on the Linkin Park wannabe.
