Hey Transfans people i got a question for you all, if any could be kind to help me ,Thank you. I stack some of my MISB deluxe like this Link:http://img58.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stacked1ta.jpg My question is the following: Will eventualy the box that is down will be squished or will it be damaged by the weight the top one is doing ? :huh :huh :huh I saw Professor Coldheart post buy i don't know if he mean these one and if it like i put them. Thanks for your help
I'm not sure what you saw me post. But eventually, the weight of the top box will eventually begin to press on the boxes below. If it's only one deluxe on top of another, then it won't be much of a problem, but if you have one box on top of another, then it will definately start to affect it, especially if it's a window box.
Two or three per stack probably wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't go any higher. Take this from a Hot Wheels collector that essentially ruined the cards on ~200 toys by stacking too damn high. If the bubble or card on the bottom deforms at all, then its definitely too much weight. Even if it doesn't deform noticeably at first, it could weaken over time.
I've had no problems with that, and I used to stack mine about 25 figures high before I started keeping them in rubbermaid boxes. So I'd say you're good.
Why stack boxes with the toys still in them? Either open them to display, or if you like MISB, display the boxes. My motto: If you can't display your collection, maybe it's too big.
Pssh! It's not even funny the ratio of stuff I have in storage vs. displayed. I'd like to think someday I'll be able to display most of it, but that's going to require a bigger room in a more permanent residence...and a lot of shelves.
Operator: Operator, what do you need... besides a miracle? Ominbus Prime: We need shelves... lots of shelves
I would display them but i dont got a case to display but when my collection grow i'll get a case for now i don't got much tf and dont got place to display but a little 2 feet by 1 feet furniture Thank you all for your opinion
