It's almost like you have something against a transformer being an official figure. This figure improves on a few things, but overall the mpm Bee figure is still a more solid figure that just looks better and is more screen accurate in a lot of ways. And mpm Optimus is not a bad figure. Its an amazing figure with a few qc issues.
Maybe if they put as much effort asthey did with g1 masterpieces we wouldn't complain. Mpm optimus has crappy accessories looks so weird and out of proportion in robot mode,Every time I look at him I think of this... And mpm (or should I call these pms) bumblebee isn't any better his cannon has a giant gap going through it and is to small,he has a bumper which where never there in any of his alt modes and his color should be enough to be on tfwikis notable list of neon transformers. He also has a back pack that sticks out so far yet they tried nothing to make it shrink or add something like shoulder cannons to go with him.Oh and his feet are udder shit.(Yeah thats right,I said udder for the 3rd time. Watcha gonna do about it) also both of these have bad paint jobs,pm bumblebee is missing paint on his wheels and I guess his arm cannon, and we all know bad pm optimus is so I am not even gonna touch that and they are both missing rubber tires,if these are supposed to be MASTERPIECE Robots that turn into cars,Shouldn't they as much stuff as a model car does with ruining the robot. ok I dont hate the figures that much and I am glad we are even getting these in the first place.
MPM bumblebee is way better than this. The chest alone is the best and most obvious thing to compare.
Not to butt in.. but the mpm optimus has amidst prefect proportions to the movie model. Just sayin. I mean, I'm no fan of it, but that's due to the inaccuracies of the robot mode and nothing else. It's just so dad they went with the weird design for the arms and red abdominal pieces. That would've made it almost an Insta - buy for me, if they'd of kept the accuracy on par.
Looks very nice and I can't wait to compare it with MPM Bee in hand. Something about the face sculpt is off though.
