Yeah he looks virtually perfect. Looks like my RTS Wreck-Gar is finally gonna be getting replaced soon...

Am I the only one that hates this mold? The Reveal the Shield version looks better.

I mean, it looks like exactly what everyone expected - super accurate robot mode, vehicle mode makes some concessions... but he appears to be mostly held together with screws?

    Which is good for customizers.

    Ab crunch.
    Freakin' ab crunch.
Studio Series just keeps getting better and better.

I like him a lot. I’m glad I put in the preorder.

Hoping for a second junkion retool, so they can ride each other. Even bikes with a mind of their own look better with a rider.

I wouldn’t normally favour a retool unless it’s pretty extensive* but another bike guy based on this mold with just minor changes (I.e. different head and decal differences. Maybe lose the nipple guns** for the second guy and give him a different weapon to the spinning axe) would be welcome here. I’ll say “no, thank you” to a straight repaint, though. I’ll just put one of the other autobots on his back in that case.

*Says he who either owns or has on preorder multiples of ER Datsuns, Siege Sideswipe and Siege and Earthrise Seekers.

** I like the nipple guns on Wreck Gar, but I think it’s an amusing gimmick that shouldn’t be shared amongst multiples.

I understand the excitement over ab crunch, but it looks more like a transformation joint they were able to work in to regular articulation.

Isn't that more desirable than forcing a point of articulation?

It was part of the engineering to be fair, but still it’s awesome that TT could integrate articulation into engineering where they can.

And Wreck-Gar is f’ing magnificent! The engineering is a bit less involved than I would’ve liked but I’ve always loved the minimalist approach the SS series has taken on. I will be gladly buying up each and every junkion HasTak put out.

Is it "what if' or "when" a Killing Jar set of Wreckgar, Ultra Magnus, and Cyclonus gets announced as an exclusive?

Well yeah, but I'm just appreciating how they made it work here, as I'm not expecting crunch to be a common point of articulation going forward.

Is this the first transformer with nipple articulation?

He's crouching in the scene, scale is just fine :)

Although for a figure this detailed, I don't think anyone will be upset over that tiny detail.

Looks pretty solid, they really did a great job with this one.
