BBTS says Bee is "processing soon"! I guess I can hold off on shipping my little POL for a few more days, lol...

I hope this means that Amazon moves their ship date up too.

So, Bumblebee came in with One Prime. Thanks, CMD!

He's...a heck of a lot better than he should be. I'm just not sure who/what he's for.
Earthrise has the better alt mode.
    SS86 has the better transformation.
Earthrise has the better robot mode, overall. (SS86 does some things better.)
You can tell they wanted to go hardcore on the penny racer VW but couldn't. This was as close as we'll get to a non-MP Bumblebee that tries to capture the original anime. He does remind me of v2.0 MP Bumblebee.

The backpack isn't even remotely accurate, so that's a negative. Earthrise was a partsformer, but at least could get rid of the big backpack if necessary. Slight edge to ER, here.

Overall, however, SS86 Bumblebee definitely evokes a toon feel, mixed with CHUG engineering. He's honestly a gem and I didn't give him enough credit at first glance.

Well worth a pickup. Fun little bugger.

Totally missed the boat on this guy - looks sold out everywhere but GameStop currently, but I’d rather not drop the shipping if I can help it. Anyplace I’m missing that has him available?

While it's certainly not accurate for BB to have a big backpack, I quite like how they have at least incorporated the main shapes of cartoon Bee's back into the backpack, with the rectangular rear lights in the place of those rectangles on either side of the cartoon lower back:

It's really just missing the circle.

He should be back in stock and pretty widespread once he's released, being an A-level figure. In the UK he was out of stock everywhere shortly after the preorders went up, but now he's available for preorder at loads of places, including Amazon UK. So I imagine your favourite stores will have stock available once he's released.

Pretty good figure and he has a little heft to him for being so small. His scale compared to the other SS86 figures is very good. Hate that black bleed into the yellow on the door jamb sections, it really makes the colors look off. IMG_4397.jpeg IMG_4398.jpeg IMG_4399.jpeg IMG_4400.jpeg IMG_4401.jpeg IMG_4402.jpeg

    My BBTS order hit today.

I think the Earthrise is going to stay with my G1 84 figures and the SS86 is going on my actual 86 shelf rather than open the second Earthrise Bumblebee I got back then.

Finally, someone poses him next to Buzzworthy Cliffjumper!

The scale looks perfect, even with the black windows this is gonna be my main G1 Bee. Heres hoping Toyhax gets blue window decals done sooner than later!

He's always been a mold of Bumblebee or that they've always been mold-mates since Day 1 at Takara.

Do you live under a rock or somthing?

Bee and cliffjumper have always been retools, even before they were transformers...

Yellow paint disappoints again. Otherwise would be a great little figure.

Yes and no, they are technically different molds, however they share way to much in common for modern figures to be completely different molds

I'm glad we now have a better distinction between these two besides paint color and a minor remold tweak. 1000009935.jpg
Now Goldbug feels like a true upgrade.
