Yep, it's just another Bumblebee that doesn't offer anything interesting or new that the others don't. Well, the fact that it's an A-Level release is good for people who wanted a G1 Bee that wasn't Core Class or unreasonably priced on the after market. I spent $40 on Netflix Bee and $30 on WC Bee alone.

I think he is a good bumblebee, but not the ss86 bumblebee. It would have been a knockout for me in Legacy

I really can't emphasize how excited I am to see a Cliffjumper done with this mold

It’s only natural that after giving animated bumblebee an actual personality to his face, they make the g1 bee depressed as hell.

I vastly prefer the Netflix Bee headsculpt. He looks depressed too, but cute at least. IMG_1443.jpeg
Hell, R.E.D. already proved they can make a happy looking G1 Bumblebee. IMG_8836.jpeg

What a fugly dump of a toy. Netflix 'Bee is safe for another development cycle, at least.

Now where the hell is the new Optimus?!

This is what I've always wanted in a Deluxe Bee, personally.

I have Netflix Bee in my display and never once did I look at it and think "yeah that's Bumblebee from the cartoon I used to watch."

    Again, personally.

I actually forgot to update my sales thread with him earlier today, if nyone wants him, hit me up.

I don't really care for this guy, but hopefully this means we can finally get the Throttlebots from this mold.

It's kinda too bad they couldn't have rounded this off a bit more for the look, but I get why they did it...so VW wouldn't sue them for infringement of a Beetle design and then never grant them a VW or Porsche license again, lol. With the squared off bits it will make it easier to make Cliffjumper though. It's not a bad figure but yeah...I'd say this is more of a "Legacy" toy than SS86.

Honestly I feel like classics bee is still somehow the definitive feeling bee. It may not be toon, but it sure gives off that dumpy happy bee vibe properly.

Can't say I have the same issues with this Bee as other people. Maybe because I don't care that much about vehicle modes. The robot mode looks pretty good to me and it seems like a fairly accurate and solid depiction of the character.

I can’t say I like the figure as-is, but it has a lot of potential as a custom. A new head, a new front clip for the car mode… he’d make a good Hubcap or Bumper with some creative printing. As transformations go, it’s not a bad design— it’s just let down by some of the sculpting choices.

Regardless, the inevitable (intended?) Cliffjumper will be welcome.

Awesome figure. Only drawback (imo) is that it has no trunk-torso. The chest panel hangs in front of a spine assembly.

It looks out of place in a modern collection but at the same time, it remains a classic. Pun not intended.

Yeah! That face is definitely the kind to be happy that he's back in the spot light.

They seemingly don't allow G1 Bumblebee toys to be smiling, unless he's a plush. IMG_1450.jpeg IMG_1451.jpeg IMG_1452.jpeg IMG_1453.jpeg I know Bee wasn't in TF1986 for a significant amount of time, but come on. He smiled when he and Spike prematurely celebrated after activating explosives on Moon Base 2. IMG_1454.jpeg
But like 90% of the cartoon, Bee rarely looks any good. SS86 Bee isn't really movie accurate, so maybe it's not a huge loss anyway.

He looks better smiling. IMG_1447.jpeg IMG_1449.jpeg
