sold out on Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store, The Chosen Prime, and Entertainment Earth

The last time you'll see it at retail price was today.

I think you guys didn’t get the memo, this Bumblebee, along with TF One Prime, will get constant restocks. They’re not tied to a wave. So it’ll be okay.

It’s listed as A-level just like Optimus prime from TFone. A-level has been explained as a retailer requested thing where it’s deluxe class popular characters that can constantly be restocked for easy money.

This A-level thing will be an interesting experiment. I assume retailers will be able to order solid cases of them if they want, and for at least a couple of years going forward. Are they under their own SKU/DPCI? Will they go on sale/clearance out with other Deluxes? Will they be subject to price increases?

What's to stop retailers from only ordering A-level figures and not ordering other waves? Retailers in this area already barely order anything and seem perfectly content with empty pegs for months. I can't see how filling the pegs with only two figures is going to help matters. My fear is the A-level assortment is going to choke out other figures from ever being available at retail again, just driving more people to order from online stores and progressing even faster the demise of B&M retail that the big-box retailers theoretically want to avoid.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing the likes of the 2007-2010 Bumblebee hives on pegs and shelves of there'll be solid cases of just SS86 Bee.

    Bee ships with TFONE Optimus.
A-Level assortments already exist for Marvel Legends and Black Series. Chances are you’ve seen them without realizing it. They are not meant to replace all product, they are just meant keep popular characters on shelves and typically ship 2 per a case and will get their own peg, skue and pricetag.

While I don't think this figure looks good enough to be a Studio Series release and I don't think it looks close enough to G1 'toon/movie Bumblebee I am sure I will buy it if it hits retail (yes I heard the promise about everyone will be able to get one.)

I am sure the scalper vermin will have them listed at insane prices for quite a while but if the livestream blokes are correct the limited preorder amount isn't the end of it they are supposed to be orderable for retail.

Ah so it's him and One Prime in a case together. Still, if the A-Class thing is for stores to order the popular/surefire selling characters the dooming still stands:

Why order the case with Scrimblo from Transformers: Brimblo or Scrunkly from the Grunkky Trilogy when you can order Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, or Cassette Player Guy?

Mmm yeah I'll be sticking with Origins as my main G1 Bumblebee, this one is far from bad but I just prefer that figure.

...HOWEVER we'll be talking if this gets a Glyph repaint, come on!

JTprime is the one who’s given us info on it. He’s the one leaking all this stuff accurately for years now.

They only ship 2 per case? So a retailer orders an A-level assortment and the case is just one TFOne Optimus and one SS86 Bumblebee? This... almost makes even less sense to me now.

As I stated in the rest of the post you quoted, A-Level is supplimentary product that ensures big name characters remain on shelves year around. A-level assortments for other Hasbro brand are already out there and so far have not impeded other assortments.

Additionally, Walmart orders their stock via an automated replenishing system for most product that isn’t distributed by vendors, meaning that a machine is doing the ordering.

They ship 2 characters per case.
