They were officially revealed last year at Paris and London Toy Fairs with official pics and info. Though the lack of presales is odd given how wave 7 and wave 6 voyagers have preorders already.

 

Man, I can\'t wait get Scrap Metal, and I not sure to get Shatter as the car mode, well just in case for Dropkick as car mode when it comes out in UK.  Is there Shatter as the jet for Studio Series when it\'s announced?

Shatter was easily my favorite character from bee, so its really sad to see how many small issues there are with her studio series figure. The weird shaped chest i can ignore. The rimless tires with big plastic clips in the middle of them i can ignore, but the head sculpt doesnt even look close to her appearance in the movie. I'm not expecting a masterpiece figure here, but that head looks more like a nondescript ksi drone or something. Angela Bassett brought so much personality to this character, I dont think im the only one who would like to see a more movie accurate face sculpt that would reflect that sinister demeanor.

like... whose head even is that? its just strange they did something so... not even close.

 

Either this person has seriously gigantic hands or Shatter is the size of a legends figure :/

Agreed, her headsculpt is just such a disappointment compared to the other pretty well done headsculpts in current SS...

 

It's her battle mask, but you only see it when she's on Cybertron, and, for some reason, you see it retract when she transforms. It's odd, though, that all but one of her toys has the mask and only one has her actual face. I think the battle mask would suit her jet form better but hopefully a jet version will come with uan unmasked head.

 

Sadly the only deluxes in my stores were wave 3 and 4 in my stores, but right now we have nothing

 

People gotta stop complaining that they don\'t have wave 6 yet, I only have wave 1 and 3

If I remember right, VW Bee was packed with a battlemask and he's the same price. I'd think it wouldn't too big of an issue to do something similar for her. Hoping a jet version of her will be unmasked too if she does get released with that alt. I'd think she would with how we have two Dropkicks now.

He does, two weapons and a switchable face. But the inclusion of so many accessories is probably due to his smaller size keeping him in budget, same reason Jazz and Sideswipe have more paint than your average deluxe.

What you call "wave 5 Leaders" are actually the wave 2 Leaders, because regardless of what other toys are currently shipping, waves are counted separately for each price point, and there was only one distinct wave of Studio Series Leaders prior to the Megatron/Jetfire one.
