I'd like to see this mold and engineering retooled into G1-ish Optimus and Megatron

 

I'm curious if the new evasion optimus might share some engineering

IDK how yoiu'd do that but a G1 looking Megatron retooled out of this would be dope (whether its a G1 looking or movieverse BBM G1 Megatron).

 

I feel Galvatron could’ve definitely benefited from being a Leader price point, but at the same time I feel glad that I don’t have to pay Leader prices.

I couldn’t care less about Thundercracker, but happy for those that want the BBM seek

Galvatron looks much better than his og release. I still wish they made him a partsformer for every limb to pseudo simulate his KSI transformation.

 

I would have to see Galvy before he would replace my AOE figure; on the fence with TC.

 

something i just noticed might actually be a dealbreaker for me, its the cannon. obviously it looks dinky as hell but i am worried that it might be his actual hand. if thats the case then its a hard pass for me because holy hell why

Honestly movie "Galvatron" looks more like it could make for a cool Scourge / Nemesis Prime / Black Convoy rather than a Galvatron. It's literally an attempt to recreate Optimus that kept looking Megatron-esque.

 

It looks to have a tab on the front of the cannon, likely for storage, so I doubt its the actual hand.

 

Found an AD Galvatron a few hours after the announcement for 12 bucks.

I love the new Galvatron, but I’d like to get the old voyager to compare and contrast since there’s a big divide between which one is better.

 

You know, I have to say, I've been less than impressed with the last few SS reveals/leaks. Sideways and Galvatron both look just OK to me. I get there's constraints with what you engineering can do with some of these designs, but they both seem phoned in compared to earlier figures in the line.

Even with this new one coming(who I will get), I’d really love to pick up another of the original mold.

 

Basically, take the engineering and parts, smooth them out / get rid of the movieverse sculpts and detailing, shape them… etc. Keep the hinges and pivots.

G1-ish. Heavy on the ish.

 

I’d be curious to see.
A lot of this engineering reminds me of ER Optimus.

I think... the BB Tetrajet Seeker mold looks... bloated, passed on the SS BB Screamer and currently hoping for a Skywarp version for the slimming effect of a black color scheme
