Now THAT is a color scheme I'd gladly get behind. Fabulous work, I especially like how you took inspiration from a bunch of different figures.

 

May I just say one thing. People always told me, "you'll think differently once you grow up" and I didn't. I still think the same way. People told me "you'll see what it's like once you have your own kids" and now that I have kids I can tell them they simply fucked up. Why am I telling you this? Because people complained a lot about inaccuracies to the G1 characters in the TF movies going ballistic with every reveal and I had no say, cos I was born in 1992.

Now.. Beast Wars meant everything to me and it's still a huge part of me. Kingdom was a blast and this?...

I do not feel offended or "let down". What I see is, them trying to make these transformers more realistic somehow. I like the robot head. It looks so fresh and new yet somehow they managed to keep Cheetors "essence" in there (the smiling puppet cat face) and even his large head spikes are still there. Amazing. The rest looks like a sweet updated nix of all his incarnations

I don't fully get the voyager price point here though. I see there are a lot of tiny parts moving around to sort of "morf" from mode to mode but.. I dunno. I think I prefer this to the mainline version. I prefer the mainline transformation because I generally prefer when the robot mode has a different colour and different Details than the beast mode (Shellformer style), but the head is better on this SS version. So is the overall look.. hm.. I'm 60% SS, 40% mainline ATM

It just looks weird and the head sculpt sucks.

 

Oh wow. Beast mode almost looks more like a baboon than a cheetah, and that robot is so... bland.

 

Then that means the on-screen model isn't very good either?

Was that meant to be a 'burn' or something??

 

Tbh the cheetah mode looks more like a bear than it does a cheetah.

 

He's pretty cool I'd say. The colors could stand to be a little more vibrant and I wish the hands would hide better in beast mode, but having his cheetah paws act like impromptu knuckle dusters in bot mode is not a bad pay-off. Seeing as movie characters usually aren't that memorable to me save for a few exceptions, in case I get this toy instead of I'll probably pretend he's some sort of missing link between Fossilizers and actual bona fide Cybertronians.

 

I like it, but you know what I like so much?

The way that haters are already giving it attention and seek attention here, because no matter how much they say that they hate movie or they dont care about movie toys, they need to be here screaming how "bad" "lack" "bland" and "worst" are the things, just to get one sec of spotlight.

 

That doesn't sound like a good reason to like something, or anything for that matter. :|

So I think the problem is the movie version does not use the head is the chest, so they attempted to hide the entire head inside the abdomen.

Also the hand into paw transformation doesn't really work. Previous versions used a whole different set of limbs here and stored them on the back.

I think if the fingers were the paws that might help.


But hey he looks like Cheator and not some abomination. So for the complaints I'm seeing, it's not like he's Wheeljack.

This is the first actual digibash I've ever done but I tried making him more vibrant and adding more silver bits to break up the yellow. Too lazy to change the spears. Feedback appreciated

Nobody here is hating on the figure to get attention, we are upset because we personally don’t like it.


It really baffles me how some people can be like “Man, I’m don’t like this at all”, and proceed to point out why they don’t like it, and then people like you come in here and go “well if don’t like it, your just looking for clout and attention!”

You are the one with the real problem here if you get so offended about voicing different opinions that you make up false justifications to chastize them.

 

Most of us are just not big on how this guy turned out. Nothing more, nothing else. Atleast from most of what I can see, people are neither being dicks or are going to off-topic to talk about "how TeriBUL" ROTB is. We are just talking about the figure.

 

So it looks great, however I feel the need to point out that the spots you added, were Leopard spots and not Cheetah spots. Cheetahs have single color full cirlcle black spits. Leopards have weird black “c”s with another color on the inside.
