I like it, love the spear, the head will take some getting used to but I like it. He feels very much like a tribal hunter to me and I dig that.

 

Hmmm. I think that both versions of Airazor were pretty equally good in different ways, but this Cheetor definitely doesn't look as good as the other. And the way the arms and legs are done is so lazy in comparison.

I hope the other Cheetor gets released too, but I'm worried since the other Airazor hasn't been put up for pre-order yet.

 

They will definitely get released but since they aren't studio series and instead, mainline, Hasbro probably isn't putting as much attention on them, we will probably see a dump of the "core wave1" all at once on pulse in comparison to these weekly ss reveals

 

Ok I think I can work with this. Robot mode is great! But that beast mode is gonna have to grow on me.

 

Can we get a mainline and SS photo comparison?

 

Its not we've seen his back his beast mode head just disappears.

 

Robot mode looks fine. Cheetah mode looks like an afterthought, and the result of a transformation that is way too simple. Cheetor is usually dead simple but this thing looks like it has even fewer steps than that.

I wish they'd gone with some less dull colors. The beast cast is shaping up to look like a ps3 era game with all this brown

 

Mammalian beast modes are SO easy, too! Half the time they just stand up. Where did the budget go on this?

 

Wait does this mean that we'll be getting 2 versions for every character? Like maybe 1 version for before / after OP shows up on earth? It makes me wonder bc there's 2 versions of Airazor.  

 

The problem with all of these ROTB figures is that they are loaded with physical sculpting details, but absolutely none of it is picked out with paint.


Cheeto here is perhaps the worse sufferer of needing a good blackwash to bring out all his little details. Cause without it he just looks like mushed together shit.

EDIT: Also, can we talk about just how simple he is? You fold the cheetah head into the inside of the chest, you fold the cheetah buttflap and tail on the back, and then you just stand him up. He better a decent sized voyager, cause he sure isn’t SS86 Hot Rod I can tell you that.

Huh, that's certainly different.

Not a fan of the color scheme but he has certainly a Beast Machine Cheetor vibe. Not bad overall but, just like Airazor, I think I prefer mainline ROTB Cheetor.

Is good to have variety in designs though.

 

Shame he doesn't have any rust either
