I mean they had Cheetor original, Transmetal and Transmetal 2 to take design decision from all 3 designs are quite good too however BM Design is quite literally awful that show shouldnt have existed. This is the first iteration of the character one of the main traits of BW characters was head on chest. Its like having Optimus without his signature head or windows on his chest its dumb.

 

I want to like this figure but the bot mode just looks so blocky, it legit reminds me of a Minecraft mob when viewed from some angles. I might change my opinion once more pictures are released and someone does a review of him.
Those front paws though, are horrendous.

 

Why such terrible monochromatic colours, Hasbro? You're allowed to use more than one colour of paint on the entire figure, you know.

Design doesn't look bad (although transformation looks super simple for a voyager)... but these colour choices, yeesh. I'm tired of figures being all one flat colour these days. It's like they're trying to make them look like they're made out of soap.

 

He's probably gonna be Deluxe size LOL

It kinda reminded me of an authentics figure for a second.

 

Can\'t say I like it at all. Guess the one we have seen before was based on preliminary CGI designs (same as in 2007) and we are only getting the correct design-based toys now because the movie was delayed? At any rate, this looks more like BM Cheetor in robot mode... or rather the Titanium BM Cheetor. He is way too thick, bulky and wide for a supposedly fast and sleek character. And that face with the mask looks nothing at all like Cheetor ever looked.

 

The SS beasts looks so just bad compared to their Rotb counterparts cause seeing airrazor and Cheetor. I have no faith for SS Primal or Rhinox. For one I’m not a fan of making him orang,but most bay stuff arnt original Colors so I’ll live with that. It’s the fact of how is he a voyager?
I was looking forward to SS Cheetor and it’s such a disappointment. Idk, Maybe I’ll put the 4 beast with my dinobots and use them as Knights(getting Mainline rotb airrazor not SS)

These past years of slavish accuracy have spoilt this fandom to death into rejecting anything remotely new/different
If this fandom had its way the likes of barricade and blackout etc would still have been some obscure af bland micromasters

 

I actually think this is pretty neat. Tbh—even MCU designs aren’t exactly like the comics, & personally felt the “main line” leaked toy was a little too slavish to his classic design. I also like that he seems to have finally ditched his leg wing back kibble maybe?

 

They can only work with what they have from Paramount. In fact this was a problem I had with Primal too when we saw his robot mode in the trailer, he was all black/grey, really boring colors. Same problem here.
Also, this is a Voyager??? Does not look as complex.

 

this is the ugliest thing I have ever seen! but I am still picking him up for my collection, that will just be 40 bucks that I will never get back......  

 

Transmetal and Transmetal 2 werent introductions to the character.   He's a favourite of mine and this design aint good. Ya'll be rioting in the street if Prime got this treatment.(Most already did with the TLK design)

Probably would look better if the black parts were blue and his mutton chops were the yellow colour.

 

This is really the line you're pulling? "waah, cheetor needs his beast head on his chest the first time we see him in the movies!" why? it's not like that part of the design informed his character or anything

 

Oh my god can you imagine if the movies had changed the G1 designs repeatedly over the course of 16 years
