the sad thing about sidesdwipe is that it doesnt have the accurate headlights on top, isntead have the dotm design
The previous Sideswipe toy was the DotM convertible variant. This is the RotF hard-top. His torso would look less like Baby Yoda if the wings were down-swept, like they usually are. Sideswipe rarely had his wings up like that.
Jolt looks good, I don\'t mind about the shellforming thing because he\'s going to stay in car mode for me.

Yes. He’s transformed differently in the photos form the front versus the ones from the back, so all of that mess definitely cleans up some. The one on the left looks way better, though could use a bit more blue. Yes, but now we get TWO Sideswipes. Let Haskara have their easy remold, they can use the money for more toys! (And I can have more Corvettes…) I do wish they were able to tweak some of the weaker bits of the mold though. Good catch!
well SS is about film accuracy, it took awhile for me to get used to it but I love it, head could use some more blue paint though.
I'll be honest, Hasbro actually kinda deserves these leaking out this time around. They really could have easily revealed these in the FFF where they revealed Gnaw, Wreck-Gar, and Slag, because Jolt, Thrust, and Grindor at least are in the same damn wave. There's honestly no excuse for not revealing them at that time, even if the stream was "for the 86 movie", they still revealed SG Starscream, so that argument is kinda moot. This is coming from someone who barely touched Studio Series outside the 86 figures BTW. As far as the actual figures, they look good. I'm not a Bay collector as mentioned, but I can appreciate these guys. I can see why fans are so excited. If I have the extra cash and see either of these guys, I might grab them. Maybe.

Jolt looks amazing. I only had the DOTM Jolt before, but one of his arm sockets had terrible QC, so it'd pop off from the balljoint. He was already a must for me, glad to see him at last. I wasn't planning on double dipping on Sideswipe, but that silver deco looks beyond amazing, so he's become a must. Though I'm glad to have the DOTM one, because apparently this doesn't have his guns
