Everyone has preferences. I just didn’t prefer to see a Transformers film where they mostly subsist off of Disaster Movie-level crass, raunchy and unfunny humor.

The lower legs are detached from the hips plus the back, while the chest, head and arms are also removed to form the gun. You basically split it apart into 3 pieces to form the Jet Prime armor. Which doesn't bother me in the least lol.

Yeah! I HATE how much more movie accurate and posable and better designed this new jetfire is! I want more PLASTIC. GIMME PLASTIC!
It's been said before but that's actually movie accurate. I'm a big partsformer hater but this actually makes sense. He doesn't split apart for alt mode like Omega Supreme, he doesn't have to split in half like Overlord, and his head doesn't have to come off to transform like a headmaster. He's a complete figure who CAN partsform to combine with another figure, which is awesome AND movie-accurate.

he was literally dead when they used his parts as armor. it's weirder when he doesn't partsform.

As much as I agree that the size difference over the whole brand and all lines is a bit much. I must also say that lately the Leader figures got to be increasingly hollow and flimsy. Leader class CW Ultra Magnus simply is a hollow figure. The last one I really liked was Generations Thrilling30 Jetfire. And that says enough. The scale down is a necessity for covering cost and keeping things solid. I disliked most of the other leaders and only picked up the ones I really needed. Like Sixshot. The new leaders are also really small, Ultra Magnus barely taller than a voyager. And Shockwave is a voyager with pumped up kicks... As for a the Studio Series goes they also size down. So it seems. And it has to do with budget as well as esthetics being more pleasing.
What I am wondering is if this plastic has the right quality over time. Since sizing down is usually for either material price or cheaper quality material which won't hold if the figure is larger.

    That size is pathetic.
I hope Black Mamba or Wei Jiang does something with this.

I don\'t know how, but Jetfire is growing on me. I really dig this new mold. Can\'t wait to see it in person.

I will have to pass, Studio Series looks pretty good, particularly in pics but in hand the reality is different.

Figures are not pretty sturdy, and the cheap hollow plastic syndrome is strong in the line. There are still some good figures, considering the CHPS, like Grimlock but is hard to displace the original high quality Leader Optimus Prime for this.

In the other hand, is not even fair compare one Optimus Prime with another, we are talking about figures pre cheap hollow plastic syndrome era versus post cheap hollow plastic syndrome era. It is clear that figures pre CHPS will have a higher quality.

Looks great!  100% gonna get them.  I was iffy on the Studio Series at first, but it\'s been a pleasant surprise for the most part.

Honestly, I hate that I have a reason to get SSPrime because i really had no intention of getting him. Jetfire's definitely the draw here.

Wow! Imagine waking up and seeing my pictures being featured. Thanks to everyone for their kind comments! (^O^)

Yup! That's me, the one and only! (^.^')

Here you go! And yup. It's not in the instructions at all. The top half of Jetfire just disappears.

So is there anyway to remove some stuff off the massive BFG he has? It just looks really clunky and I feel it could be better if you just took a bit off. But these are excellent photos on your part and I’m glad to have them.
