Another thing to appreciate here (and it might be just a minimal thing) is that SS86 Arcee actually uses almost all the space underside the vehicle to distribute the robot bits in an even better way than the MP. This is pretty impressive considering is a retool that had to figure out a completely different way to position the new parts with the ones that were already there.

 

Again the eye of the beholder, for me the huge holes at the sides of the SS86 car are more egregious than the panel lines on ER/Kingdom, and the aesthetic is ironically closer to Dery's initial design model drawings than the actual car mode featured in the film itself, true not the best looking sports car but accurate. Your boat floats differently.

 

Those comparison shots really hammer home how fugly Cyberverse Arcee is.

 

Y-yeah, people give ER Arcee such crap but look at the fuckin' roof hanging off of Cyberverse Arcee.

 

i mean the photo of cyberverse arcee from the side is, well, untransformed in the least flattering way possible

 

'Untransformed' is a funny way to say 'mistransformed'.

Still looks like a worse figure than ER though.

 

Nah, Cyberverse Arcee is pretty amazing to me in that she came out in the same year as ER Arcee, but while both are from the same "basically the entire car piles up on her back" way of thinking, it's so much more rewarding to transform and elegant in its execution. If you've gotta pick an Arcee that has an entire car backpack, she's the winner.

I'm thinking I'd rather have this new version of Arcee redecoed into a different character.

 

Seeing these comparisons... this new Arcee handles it the best. God, I\'m really starting to see some of the issues people had with that backpack with these shots.

 

God, I remember the days when we thought Animated Arcee was the best G1 style Arcee we were ever going to get. Crazy to see this many options nowadays

 

Well, a Lifeline is almost guaranteed given that's been the go-to redeco for Arcee since the T30 released, so we'll probably see that as a Selects release sometime in the next year.

 

Atleast that figure has been engineered to transform. While transforming her has to be one of the most repetitive process in a while the end result is a great reward.

 

Pretty much the opposite for me except the transformation the robot mode made me think the vehicle mode was the best mode.

 

I wonder if you can swap the SS86 and Earthrise heads. I think Earthrise has a better face.

 

I don't know why people want the Earthrise headsculpt, the lack of paint made it look like a dead doll (also, the balljoint was pretty restricted and even if it fits the SS86 mould, it would be downgrade because of how limited the articulation would be).

 

ER is the least Mom-faced/Benevolent beatific of the mainline Arcee's, TR's probably still the best for about the only time she's been given a means business determined look but good luck getting mitts on her now, if they're not gonna give us a full scowl, angry look Arcee more steely determined expressions for the lead Fembot would be a welcome compromise!

 

I notice there 3 different body and colors of Arcee, I like most generation 30th thriller and Studio series 86 cause of backpack make it look more movie and cartoon in 86\'. Transformers earthraise is not same as 30th thriller or studio series, it like to cover of her backpack, i rather to get it off cause it show like a cartoon in 86\', but I glad they redo ss86 yay....

 

This mold is better tham ER arcee.

 

I still can't get over the fact that they took the perfectly good T30 Arcee and literally just made it worse.

 

I like some of the changes (since I do think the end of the T30's car mode was a bit lacking), but I am not a fan of the color scheme. I like Arcee to be a nice vibrant pink.
