You know what would be really cool if all of Brainstorm's crazy inventions that have been used/mentioned thus far actually played apart in the larger story somewhere down the road.

I think his inventions rarely make it past prototype, and that is the reason they are not used. Not reliable and/or tested.

At least that's how I justify it to myself.

All around fun issue though. I hope the rest of the spotlights are this entertaining.

I think this hits the nail on the head for me - what use is a weapon that paralysises all the enemy if it also paralyses the person who deploys it?

See also the metafictional bomb (that affects Swerve the button pusher), also the Shoomer. God/Primus/Adaptus bless anyone who opens that briefcase!

Really? Cause I wanna love him, but I feel like we keep getting the moments where he's a jerk, ever since issue #7 on I think Roberts has lost focus on Rodimus.....I'd really like to see him get some focus for an issue....Or a Spotlight: Rodimus.

But that's the thing, he's not a jerk on purpose. He's literally so arrogant he doesn't even realise. He doesn't understand why Trailbreaker would resent not getting a medal. He doesn't do it on purpose, it just never crosses his mind. He's just such an unintentional butthead.

Split I read it on the Comixology app hours ago. Are you not able to find it?

No, it's just a crummy app for me. I buy the issues then they never show up on my comics, they say I have to buy them again, I had to resend my information because I deleted and reinstalled the app to get it to work. It's just a headache. I did eventually read it but of the three comics I've bought I've never had it be a smooth transaction. Always an ordeal just to read one issue.

But at least the issue made it slightly worth it. I mean, I really want Gen Trailcutter now.

I'm just curious what you use it on? It's always worked super smooth and easy on my Apple devices.

-ZacWilliam, just wondering if the PC experience is the issue...

Uh, that's fucking awesome and has tons of applications. Stick it on a drone. Give it to Trailbreaker and he one-shots the DJD. Orbital-jump it into a big pile of Decepticons. Mount it on a small flying vessel and you counter mobs like the ones that cause so much trouble in RiD.

And we all know Autobots NEVER sacrifice themselves, right? ;)

Man that was just a plain old great and fun read. I love it as much as I loved the Meg's spotlight. Whirl was priceless.

I've had issues with them before too and I have both Apple and Samsung products. Registration itself was a nightmare and I was doing it on their site from my laptop.

I've never liked Trailbreaker in my entire life.

By the end of this issue he'd become one of my faves. He's immensely likeable and relatable in this (though it helps that others around him are so comically egotisitcal and self-centred which puts him in sharp relief). Brilliant art, too.

    Now where's that Generations toy...?

Honestly, this one didn't really do anything for me. I mean, I love Trailbreaker, I love James Roberts, I love MTMTE...but this thing reeked of trying too hard. It kind of blew its load after the first few pages.
