heres a pic of the bot with a faceplate.... i was thinking the same thing when i first saw him exp since he reminded me of prime without one.




this is just super simple and fast being at work took primes plate and tossed it on "mystery bot".

i hope he gets one now!

 

My first thought was Vector for some reason, my moneys on A3 though

 

So I've been thining about this quite a bit. Here's what has been going through my head so far:

1-The bot is an Autobot (I'm assuming here the eye color wasn't an intentional mislead).
2-The bot is golden hued with large shoulder pads, traits held by Vector Prime and The Last Autobot (one could argue that Vector is an updated Last Autobot).
3-His face is similar in structure to that of Optimus Prime. There are differences but enough to imply kinship.
4-He can't be one of the original Primes because a-they share a design aesthetic to The Fallen and b-are all dead/in another dimension.
5-The Fallen believed all the other Primes were dead.

Now, here are some assumptions we can make:

1-Vector Prime was one of the original Dynasty of Primes.
2-Alpha Trion is not a Prime, although he is (now) one of the Original Thirteen.
3-With how close he looks to OP, he is likely a Prime.
4-We don't know how much time passed between the Moon Landing and the character reactivating. It could have been minutes or it could have been 40 years.

OK, so what can we conclude from this so far?

1-He is NOT Unicron (not an Autobot).
2-He is NOT Vector Prime (dead/another dimension).
3-He is NOT Alpha Trion (not a Prime).

OK, what does that leave? Notice I didn't remove The Last Autobot from that list. That may be a title this character takes on as he appears to be the only survivor of the crash. But if that's the case, then what is his actual name?

Well, we are left with two rumored possibilities.

1-He is Sentiel Prime.
2-He is Rodimus Prime.

There is one last rumor that has been associated with both of those names. He is Optimus Prime's "father" whatever that might mean.

So that's where I stand right now, based on the information we have at this time. If you see something wrong with this logic, please let me know.

And, just to clarify, I'm NOT saying it has to be either of those two, but based on the above, those are the only two characters I can see him being at this time. They may decide to make Alpha Trion a Prime. The blue optics may have been a mislead and it is actually unicron. They may say "No, Vector Prime wasn't one of the original Primes." This is just where we stand right now.

 

This post has convinced me that he's a Prime.

My first thought initially was Sentinel (with a hint of "maybe Rodimus"?), but now I'm pretty firm in my stance that it could be Sentinel, especially after seeing the pic above.

I noticed he had a glyph on him, but I didn't know which it was, and didn't think to question it, but, damn, RedWolf got it (or whoever he got it from).

 

... Vector Tion maybe?  

Though I had a stupid thought for a split second that it was Optimus from the future but then I banged my head on the wall for my incolence.

The Last Autobot?

 

When I first saw it my thought was that it was Alpha Trion. Although the color is off, the head reminded me of him.

 

It's Penry, the Autobots' mild-mannered janitor.

(Who seems to have demanded of a certain Mr. Cullen that he gives him his face. And thanks to Mr. Bacala's pics, I can no longer see anyone else but PC in our mystery bot's mug.  )

im gonna go out on a limb here and say that the crashed ship (imho) resembles the giant gunship



mind you in much smaller capacity. maybe (going out on an effin limb) Silverbolt scans to ship for an altmode.

I first thought instantly it was going to be vector prime then my love for alpha trion kicked in and got giddy cause it looks like alphas face on vectors body but then my dissapointment kicked in and realized its the rumored sentinel prime whois supposed to be Primes dad and once i saw the similarities in head design its pretty much a lock its sentinel prime.


Ugh hate sentinel really would have preffered alpha trion

 

Here's a thought. What if it isn't the character "Sentinel Prime" but that's still his name? What if they merge Sentiel, the Last Autobot and Alpha Trion into to a single character or just take the character of Alpha Trion and rename it Sentinel Prime to fit into other ideas they have for the story?

Good call. When I saw it it was all the way at #1 and entertainment news sites were reporting that it is in fact Alpha Trion in the trailer, not that they would actually know.

 

This is obviously made up. No one has spoke about Neve Campbell in 10 years

Yea i think the new Scream is the only thing shes done in like 10 years lol.

But nobody technically "knows" who it is yet.

Im hoping all things considered that it is Alpha.

 

ya but that stuff is just the most searched things on yahoo. hence the trending now. it deff is cool too see transformers 3 and Alpha on there nice find!


and i think those guys are pretty much speculating that because until i hear it from bay or that i wont believe that lol thats too big of a teaser to spoil for everyone.
