I am not sure if you've stayed for Black Panther end credits but it gave me the exact same vibe, the tempo and the animation.

 

To be honest, they still look like the designs from the other movies with a bit more of their structure forming solid armor.

 

Bumblebee, Prime, Rachet, Arcee, Wheeljack, Soundwave, and Shockwave.

 

I will write a legit review later, but in the mean time: I loved it. My only issue was that the score felt lacking a bit. Nowhere near as magical and emotive as Steve Jablonsky's work. That would have elevated the film so much more.

 

EXACTLY

 

So while Dropkick is in his heli form, Bee finds some metal chains on the ground. Bee picks them up and throws them towards Dropkick. He gets tangled in the chains and he is forced to transform back to robot mode. When he transforms back, he gets mangled into the chains so the chains are going through some of his robot kibble. Dropkick says his line and then Bumblebee yanks the chain which causes Dropkick to crush into himself and results in him exploding into pieces. It was a pretty clever death scene.

It's a different mix I believe in the ending credits. That song that tied it all together, bringing BB back to life, and bringing Charlie back to life by helping her get past her father's death and making her believe in herself again.

 

Yikes that's brutal. How does Blitzwing die? Does he get blown up by Bee with his own missile in the trailers?

From the very first 10 seconds you quickly realize this is a different film than the previous ones we’ve gotten. I’m obviously hyped up after the first showing, but this is a phenomenal movie. It is 100% going to be what kids, especially, want.

 

Don’t know the voice actors, but Ratchet, Wheeljack, Arcee, Soundwave, Shockwave, and Cliffjumper in another scene.

 

No idea, but if I were to guess at least 5: Ironhide, Ratchet, Brawn, Arcee and Wheeljack.

 

That's brutal even for a movie death. And I'd assume blitzwing is also killed by his own missile just in the trailers

 

Yeah, bummer that he died, but even in the little bit you see of him he’s great! He actually screams, he’s grabbing the missile trying to pull it out screaming “no, noooo”. Probably would’ve succeeded but bee shoots the missile

 

What was Arcee’s look in the movie besides her G1 design

 

Couldn't see Ironhide but for a quick second but looked g1 yes as did the rest ratchet, wheeljack and Arcee. Brawn even had his g1 look silver dome and all.

 

Agreed. This is what Transformers was supposed to be from the beginning. I honestly believe this movie will also stand the test of time unlike the Bay movies. It really does remind me of a classic 80's storytelling movie that anyone can enjoy.

 

Loved it!!! My top 3 Transformers films are TFTM 1986, Bumblebee, then TF 2007. Hope to see a lot more of the G1/Bayverse mashups.

Did anyone else think of Swindle when Bee was in the yellow Jeep form?

 

Yes. Blitzwing was close to finishing off Bee so Bee was playing dead/injured. While he was doing that, he lets Blitzwing sneak up on him and then Bee did the whole missile thing like in the trailer.
