Literally split him in half. I saw FR's version a long time ago and was inspired to doing one of my own using the classics Optimus but then forgot all about it. Then more recently, Pumpkingonzo did his version of the 'Becoming Nemeis', and I was totally re-inspired to finally do this one. He's nearly done, just got to get his rear smokestacks connected and provide him with a weapon.

Due to the mods, he is no longer transformable.

Agreed, very nice paint and cleanup work here. Def on par with FR.

Really a shame this figure didn't see the kind of attention say CW Prime had. Pretty sure another member is working on something to add a little articulation and better hands, but I'd really like to see a proper kit that gave those plus the ability to turn the cab sections into a backpack. Totally fine with a little kibble.

 

He needs a Cybertronian golden disk to flip in his hand...

Thanks for all the comments guys, I do appreciate your feedback. I really wanted a slimmed version of this particular figure for this split personality custom. I do have another one of these guys that I'll paint up that will be transformable and I'm not sure whether to do a Shattered Glass Optimus or some other version of him but that's why this one wasn't transformable.

The paints I used are a custom mix from Citadel, Model Masters and Vallejo. The red was Citadel's Mephiston Red mixed with Vallejo's Scarlet Red. The blue was a mix of a Citadel blue paint (pick you favorite color cause the label is worn off) and I believe I used Model Master's French Royal Blue to mix in.

 

Thanks. It seems that mixing colors is a must to get that perfect red and blue for Prime.

A real beautiful representation of the split between two sides of Optimus,
but it looks like that the Nemesis is overtaking Prime a bit. Al and all a beautiful paint job
on the figure I really love how you done it.

 

Really cool, but I just have one suggestion as to making it transform. Not my idea, just putting that out there.
