I did until I got to level 20 and everyone was using it the 52. gal is the perfect counter to aerosprey users. Pop the barrier thing and your extra range can take'em out. Adding 2 strength modifers when using this gun will take it from a 3 hit kill to a 2 hitter. ninja squid is an amazing perk that can only be on clothes if bought with it (it'll never roll when you get an upgrade) and only found on shirts. You loose some speed when moving as a squid but you're invisible (unless they have an ability to track you). Same for the jump one which makes the enemy team unable to see where you're jumping to on the map. Can only be found on shoes.
I don't get it. All I see is regular Splatoon... I put this game down for a few days. The gear I ordered from Spyke's gone. Genius mechanic to keep you playing, I hate it.
Push forward as soon as the match starts. You can always tell the newest players who start covering the area directly around the spawn point with paint. That's good an all, but for the most points, you need to be in the middle heading towards the enemy territory. The team that gets pushed back can rarely ever recover from that.

Anyone else think Nintendo will have a release date announced for Tower Control and more info on Rainmaker during their Digital Event? Probably something else too...
Ugh! I was playing on my Mom's Wii U for a bit... so I was starting over at level 1. I knew I would be better than most of the low levels. No big deal there. But at level 6, I was being thrust into matches with several level 20s... And outscoring them with the level six gear.. THAT's bad.
Not really mate, it's easy to get to level 20. The game is made so anyone at any level can contribute. A lot of folks stick to get gun you get at level 1.
It actually looks kinda cool. You pick a side (like cats or dogs) and then for three days or something you just play splatoon, then at the end of it you get a bunch of the things spyke is after that are really expensive based on how well you and your team did. U always so salty over this game
Amiibo costumes and DLC-linked singleplayer missions I'm sure are coming. I wouldn't hold my breath for voice chat though.
Actually it seems to take me forever to level up. And it wasn't the gun that was suprising me.. it's that I had the level 6 gear, which gave almost not boosts to things such as ink usage or charge times. Heck.. Only thing I really had was defense and could throw my bombs farther.
Eh the gear difference is so slight it almost dosent matter too much, you're doing good though, they're probably snipers or something and not playing how they should be
