Started this out trying to find a way to make an Animated Spittor figure, but over time it's morphed into more of a Classics styled pre-Beast Wars sort of thing. I've got most of the modding figured out, and it should work. Things might change once I get a copy of the base mold (Energon Barricade). I'm not happy with Grimlock's arms, but I've left them on there for the moment (still looking for better replacements).

    What do you guys/gals think?

I think it'd really work for Spittor if you could find a way to mod the legs to be shorter, and have longer arms. And a much darker blue with gold camo stripes or something.

At first I thought that E. Barricade was a bad mold choice, but then I looked closer and saw that the front of the vehicle does form the chest in a pointing-down manner, like Spittor's beast mode's head does.

That said, it'd be cool to see the final product, Spittor was my first Transformer so it's always good to see more love.

Thanks for commenting. Personally, if I were to shorten the legs of the design, I wouldn't shorten them too much. Though I agree about the darker blue and gold camo stripe deco. I just colorized the parts to get them to look like they belonged together, instead of being a jumbled mess of different colorations.

The Barricade mold definitely is a surprisingly good starting point. The arms are really the only issue I'm having a hard time conceptualizing. Though I might try and do something similar to the pre-BW design, and have the legs extend with a spring to lengthen them, and also make it easier for him to hop, lol.

I've got other projects already in the works I need to work on, so if I do this it won't be for a while, and by then I might have some better ideas for the arms.

I'd love it, if you included his vehicle mode, too.
