    I sure as hell hope you're right about them abandoning this after the Civil War business. I can't see them keeping it around for 4-5 years like the black costume...which was everything that this one is not.

    Ummmm...all I can say is that I hope that's not the final design. It doesn't really look like armor.

    And that color scheme is clashing a bit...yet I can tolerate it.

    I'm in the camp that thinks that the original is the way to go. Characters like Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, and Captain America don't last long with costumes that are a radical departure from the norm. For some reason, people don't react well to costume changes in these characters.

    They are icons. People don;t want to see their heroes of this calibre messed with. Blueperman didn't work, Azbats didn't work, even the black spidey only went four or so years. You don;t mess with the legends.

    I dunno, I kinda like it. Considering there's an actual point to the new costume, I don't really have a problem with it.

    I don't mind it but the yellow ankles bug me. The 1/2 yellow 1/2 red foot looks like garbage. The yellow splotch should have been ankle to knee if anything.

    So they took the Spider from Ben Reilly's costume, splashed it across his chest like Spiderman 2099, and drew it simply like Spiderman Unlimited.

    That's awful. Someone needs to bitchslap Tony Stark. The only explanation for that costume is that he's drinking again.
