Sony, Marvel Make Up: Companies Will Produce Third ‘Spider-Man’ Film

 

Huh.
I was actually liking the idea of Spider Man going back to Sony.

 

No real big surprise that they would work it out, but this whole sharing universe thing has me worried. I know not all Marvel movies are great, but I really don't want Sony mediocrity to bleed through into the MCU. It should only flow one way.

 

Some sites reporting in addition to Spider Man 3, Holland/Spiderman will appear in another movie - Avengers 5?

 

Glad that mess is finally over. I wonder where Venom stands in this new deal.

 

I'm excited for the sequel. Tom Holland continues to be a great Spider-Man, and after the way the last film ended, I am looking forward for the sequel.

I wonder who the villan will be though? If they're going with the direction of using ones who haven't made a movie appearance yet, I'd like to see Kraven the Hunter, or Chameleon.

 

I'd say it's gonna be someone who can stay in the MCU after Spidey leaves after this new deal so someone who isn't directly associated only with Spider Man

 

Doesnt seem this affects Venom or anything like that, as far we know right now this is a 2 picture deal, with Spidey appearing in his third solo film and another character film

Interesting, it almost sounds like they only made a deal to just finish the "home" trilogy.

Either way, this went exactly as most of us predicted. Good good.

This is great news. Thankfully, saner minds have prevailed. Looking forward to the next Holland-led Spidey film.

At least now we can have that huge cliff hanger from Far From Home taken care of before Sony and Disney part ways for good.

 

Good news, but definitely not unexpected for me. It's nice to have a release date lined-up.

It was Disney that was being stupid here, asking for way more than they needed. Also both are big boy companies and we shouldn't be championing for them because they are ruining entertainment with their dick measuring contest.
