why did the premiere get pushed back? i put it on my calendar months ago as coming out on march 1st...and i wake up today, check my tv and its next week? argh....and its airing right before the last episode of the batman...which makes me sad that the batman is ending too...but i'm excited for spiderman, i hope its good...
Wait The Batman is ending for good? Damn. I'm not too intrested in the new Spider-man. Probably will watch the premiere but I don't think anything could hold up to the 90s series IMO. Plus the toyline looks pretty bad. :I
Yeah, they wanna get as many butts in the seats to watch Spidey so they pushed it to next week so they can air the first two episodes together as the lead-in to that Batman special.
Supposedly there's a new "Brave and the Bold" Batman series coming next, that will be nothing but team-ups...
No it wasn't. http://www.worldsfinestonline.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=66 And season 5 had plenty of episodes without a team-up.
Sorry for the double post, but when I tried to edit my prior post my browser just kept hanging. From what little I have found on The Brave and the Bold, the show will indeed be Batman teaming up with new DCU heroes each week, but it will be yet another new incarnation of Batman and everyone else for that matter. This makes no sense. They restart the character, then have him grow into a team player, then a leader, then have him join the Justice League and then abandon him? In other words, they do 5 seasons of The Batman and position him to be in a spot where he can star in The Brave and the Bold, but they are going to follow through on the concept with another version of the character. I don't get it. The show doesn't have to be continuity heavy, but it would be nice to have it in the continuity.
i agree....the brave and the bold should start right where the batman ends up....i disagree with a brand new continuity...maybe we should start a the batman thread though...in fact, i'll do that now... i'm ready for spiderman though...looks cool...
