As I said the suspension Fluid is idea for tightening joints as it does not glue them shut - varnish does. that was why I mentioned it specifically brand wise it's called Tamiya Color and Tamiya Color mini and comes in glass jars.

Can you buy Future Floor polish in the UK Anyone know ?

And all I said is that you can skip the whole paint settling step by just buying Tamiya Clear.

And nail polish/superglue are only a risk if you're lazy/impatient.

May I have suggestions on how to peg his roof into the back of his legs in car mode?

Press the tabs themselves straight down. Don't try to press from the middle of the trunk, that'll just create stress in unwanted directions.

When going in the opposite direction, unlatch the thrusters from his kneecaps, and then just push up gently, with a thumb on either side to release the tabs.

I've transformed him a ton of times now, and no stress marks on those parts at all.

[edit] Why did I think this was the MP Rodimus thread?

The real answer to the question is tricky to explain. I've found it takes a bit of a "hooking" motion to get them in nicely. Line the tabs up at the top first, and then lower the legs into place.

I just wanted to mention the Reprolabels RtS Jazz sticker upgrade set:
    Reprolabels.com -
This set is freaking awesome and makes Jazz look way better than the plain retail version (my brother commented how they made my plain Jazz look like an unfinished prototype).
It makes Jazz look better than United Jazz and is a heck of a lot cheaper. If you want to pimp your Jazz, I recommend the Reprolabels set.
I'd post pics, but my camera's USB cable is missing...

I really have to disagree with you there. While it'll make the RTS figure look a little better, it still won't have painted wheels, and the shade of white will still be ugly. It also leaves out the stripe for the "4" section of his hood.

Reprolabels can only take it so far. You gotta paint up the figure

EDIT: I gotta admit, on the subject of United Jazz, i'm surprised it sold out so quickly!

yeah, I was gonna go the rts Jazz w/ Repro route, but all the subtle differences, plus the overall white color of the United version, helped make me justify the extra few bucks and less hassle to just opt for the United version and I couldn't be any happier. Nice work on your version though, chris

That's because they copy the original stripe design.

So, I got both RTS and United Jazz. My RTS version has the completely loose chest that I have a clear elastic holding in place. Then I got my United Jazz. I don't know what it is about it, but the chest pretty much locks into place with friction. I can pick Jazz up by the chest with no movement, and I can move his arms at the shoulders with minimal movement.

I have no idea why this is so, or if anyone else has experienced this, but it makes me very happy!

Oh, and neither of mine have those "chest notches".

It was definitely not designer intent. I can't get mine to do that. The little white connector between the hood and his back won't quite fold down far enough to let the windshield snap into the place you guys have it. I can get it to go, but I have to partially bend the plastic. A lot more than I'm comfortable with. I'm surprised it didn't break. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Works fine for me clips down fine you have to wiggle the corners of the windshield past the tips of the door hinges to get the lip in position to tab down but once it's touching it only takes the smallest flex to get it in an out - it's a lot harder getting it past the door hinges one side at a time than it is to actually get the grey pieced tabbed to the windshield.

Perhaps someone can post a video to reassure people as to how its done.. unless one of the video reviews has already figured it out and no one had noticed before.

Oh and surprisingly the lack of stripe behind the number 4 is actually 100% accurate to the original source as the race numbers on Porsche 935's do not have stripes behind the numbers they are just written on a solid block of colour.

Google image search it if you want to see what I mean.

I doubt you're doing anything wrong, and that's why I said it (probably) was not intentionally designed. It holds everything in place, but it puts a lot of bending stress on the windshield.

unless I'm doing it wrong too. :)

My preferred method is judicious use of superglue to stiffen the chest hinge. Works for me anyway.

God almighty, just heard back from EpicHeroes that they have no stock of the United figure, and I've had it on Pre-order since January. So it seems that they'll take your money without any idea of whether or not that can fulfil the order. Seems very shoddy practice to me.

Very annoyed as unless I want to pay over £50, I have literally no chance of ever finding this figure now.

Just as well I didn't order from EH then!

Managed to get one from a HK seller on ebay for £30 delivered, but he doesn't seem to have any left.
