Wanted a Fizzle and Sizzle to go along with the Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Commander Guzzle that was released a while ago. Thought the Robots in Disguise Crash Combiner Wildbreak and Dragstrip would fill that role nicely for now with just a little repainting.

Comparison with the G1 toys, to be honest the Crash Combiner figures aren't really that much of an improvement in terms of articulation and just barely better sculpt-wise

What about the combined mode?  
Not bad, but the paint around Fizzle's feet looks a tiny bit thin.

Not gonna lie, that's a sick colour combination.  

 

These two look sizzling hot, especially Sizzle!

I have a spare set of those Crash Combiners here in front of me, if my store ever gets shut down I'd love to spend a quiet day at home replicating what you've done here.

I doubt I'll get the chance any time soon. I'm out on the supermarket front lines every day, far from the self-isolation, so no painting for me this week.

In any event, great idea!
