I acquired what I think is a very interesting G1 KO and I recently wrote up a review for my blog. However I know there are many TF fans that may enjoy this sort of thing that may not come across my humble blog, so I wanted to at least share the pics with everyone here.

The first thing most people will want to know is how good (or bad) is the plastic. Well it's a hard plastic and seems pretty tough. During the few times I transformed the toy, never did I feel as if the moving parts felt brittle. The gold colored launcher seems sturdy well. I was afraid I'd have another case of GPS on my hands, but so far so good!

The mold overall is mostly unchanged, but there are a few differences. The lime translucent plastic used for the jet's cockpit and for the robot's light piping eyes has been replaced with opaque plastic. The Predator "targeting gimmick", while intact, has been molded in black plastic with the spring removed. The launcher however does still have it's spring and fires the near identical missiles across the room.

Overall this is a really nice G1 KO and one that I'm glad I was able to add to my collection.

Wrong section. This would go in the Third Party Reviews part of the feedback section...or the KO Transformers Toy thread, but that's more for reporting new KO's rather than reviewing them.

I'm tempted to track some of these down so I can finally have a launcher I won't be afraid will crack/break/explode on me if I put the missile in and peg it into the other Predators' fists. I had no idea these were even knocked off, but it might be worth it to pick up for the launchers alone.

The predator launchers aren't actually gold plastic. They are a similar looking brown plastic. They do not suffer from gps.

However, it is a tiny peg, positioned on a curved surface, positioned way too far back. The tolerance on the fists is way too tight. All of this means a broken peg on the launcher. You can fire them all day without breaking them, but if you try to do it in the figures hand, it will break the peg, because the trigger pull requiring a lot of pressure coupled with every other problem.

......Skyquake's scope is gps. Never.....ever..... use it.
