Space Case is the only YES! for me.

 

Animated Starscream vibe from Space Case is win.

I think I'm going to get Deluxe Prime, just so I can say I have a deluxe-size fairly accurate version of the Prime design.

 

No way will this work, in my opinion. Wal-Mart will do the typical Wal-Mart thing and throw 5 boxes at a time on the pegs because its Optimus and an exclusive, sell a total of six figures due to kids either already having an Optimus or grabbing the Voyager at launch, and then the figure will rot on the pegs for the next few years because Wal-Mart doesn't believe in clearance, ever. In 2013 we will still be seeing sightings of these.

You hit the nail on the head why Space Case will be scalped. The only interesting figure in a case of repaints in addition to being a G2 homage? Not to mention Target has almost as bad distribution as Wal-Mart, at least around here.

Even if Target fills an endcap with these figures, all the Space Cases will be gone in a day leaving us with nothing but pegwarmers which will cause Target to not replenish.

 

The price of tampoing that deco is probably 2 cents too much now anyway.

I'd really hoped for a more military looking deco of that mold. Eh,may happen yet.

 

The only one there that might really interest me is the black Jazz. With a few touch ups paint wise it could make for a nice movie Ricochet/Stepper.

Here's hoping Target ship a few over here because they end up with too much stock, like what they did with Burning Fallen.

I anticipate Walmart pegs clogged with Prime figures, unfortunately.

 

Space Case was so predictable. Still, I might buy him for a Movieverse Animated Starscream.

 

Only want Space Case! Nothing else catches my eye.

 

Only one I'm interested in is Space Case.

 

Space Case is a definite for me; Terradive was a fantastic mold, and the nod to Animated Starscream is pretty sweet.

Unfortunately, I think I'm un-sold on deluxe Prime now.

Ed.: Interesting thought, think they're going to try to shoehorn the rest of the Gen/HFTD/RTS repaints in with the DOTM stuff too? Hope so; I don't care what line name is on the box.

space case looks okay but i was hoping they'd give him that red/white/blue checker pattern like he had in G2. i think i'll get one anyway.

 

I hope you're wrong about him being scalped(although I do believe he's an easy target for it).

They didn't mention that regarding him, that was regarding Bumblebee and Arcee. I don't think Space Case is transparant, I REALLY hope that is not the CASE.

His grid pattern is in Canada, on Reprolabels site, or at least it will be (well I wouldn't be surprised).

 

Space Case is so bought. Everything else though is a pass

 

Other than the occasional large figure, such as MP Skywarp, I've never seen Wal-Mart clearance their toys at multiple stores around here. A local Wal-Mart here still has ROTF figures like Mudflap at full price, and we're just about ready for DOTM.

Compare that to Target, that right now has every TF on clearance, the same as they did when ROTF ended.
