Love their Giuliani impression.
Words fail me at how wrong that was...
Also is this REALLY the season finale?
EDIT: Evidently it IS the season finale.
Why the hell is the season only 6 episodes long?
If you want to get technical, there's still 4 episodes left for the season. Season Finale just happens to be the title of this week's episode.
It certainly feels like a season finale.
It is just the end of Tegrity Farms version.
If you look on the southparkstudios website there's still 4 more. I like some of what we got from the tegridy farms plotline but I think it's time to go back to South Park.
Heh, so meta. Good episode.
Oh thank God I'm not the only one who noticed it.
Hahaha, this episode was hilarious. So on point, especially with The Whites arc.
Nobody cares about the Whites.
The hyper meta self awareness of what Tegridy Farms is and has done to South Park the town (read: the show) all season was beyond brilliant. Right down to the titles of each episode aka each new strain of weed Randy was growing, the family's eagerness to return to South Park the town aka show... as usual they nailed it with ninja level precision.
Not gonna lie so far this might be the best season they've had in a while.
I'm always afraid to talk about this show as it FLIES past the rules of the board. That out of the way, this season has been SO damn good.
I love lurking in this thread and seeing how many of you also love this show.
I'll probably still continue to lurk as I know I don't have the skills to talk about this show without crossing the line.
Meh the best parts weren't even that political.
South Park really does skirt the line with the forum rules.
Still, I think as long as we focus on the (typically over the top) humor that's actually in the show and don't go too deeply into the weeds of the sociopolitical events/themes behind the jokes, or take the jokes way too seriously or personally, we should be OK. I know that I'm not the only mod who enjoys South Park.
Getting back to this episode, I love how Matt and Trey called back to a previous ep and actually did give us a Mexican Joker in the end.
Yeeeeeah we'll pretend they only skirt the rules.
The discussion about it here is, anyway, to be more specific. But I think most folks here know enough to exercise some restraint and common sense. That's my hope anyway.
I keep politics out of everything I like (friendship, interests, etc.) so no worries here. Besides, who needs politics when you got ‘Tegridy?
It depends on the episode really. Some are political and others are more social commentary. And occasionally they just have an episode take a piss on something for the hell of it... like the one where they made fun of themselves (and anyone else) worrying about if something had already been done by the Simpsons.
