If not just for the fact that Kenny can die on every episode; Cartman's cat changed gender for no reason. I think continuity left with that.
I wasn't aware that the cat changed gender. When did that happen? And I understand the cartoon is just a show for jokes and what not. I'm not pissed about the lack of continuity, it's not really that big of a deal at all. I was just simply bringing it up. But at the same time, I prefer my shows to be consistent so that it continues to always feel like I'm watching the same universe of stuff. I thought this 3 parter was excellent, and I didn't care about the quick wrap up, I just wish we could have seen how it ended instead of being told about it real quick is all.
Oh totally, I expect that out of just about everything I watch with South Park being an exception. It's proven itself to be so crazy that I just go with it and accept whatever they throw out assuming that anything can and will happen and there will rarely ever be consequences, repercussions, or even references to it in the future. How else would Cartman get away with feeding a boy's parents to him as the whole town watched?
Having Justin Bieber be popped like a pimple had me laughing so hard that I forgive anything that might be wrong with this episode.
When will Coon and Friends ever end? this is the most boring 3 episodes ever. I was not a fan of The Watchmen.
OMG! Are you guys watching this right now? Between Randy's sexual obsession with the Food Network and Sharon's shakeweight, I am laughing my ass off! By far the funniest episode this season in my opinion!
Crap, I missed it. Well guys... this is the beginning of the end... South Park is only having one more season, as it was picked up in 2007 for only through season 15... next year. My highlights, funny or not, or really major events this season, was the "200" two parter, the Coon trilogy, the Jersey Shore invasion, and Tiger Woods appearing. So, anyway... this is almost it. One more, fourteen episode season of South Park to go, if it's not renewed. And if there's one thing I learned from this season, it really flies by - the latter half of this season seemed to FLY by. One more season (for now) guys. The world will be a lot less raunch, vulgar, satrical, and controversial when/if this show ends next fall... While it's not the end of the line for South Park right now... it's hitting me. Time's running out for our favorite Park in the South.
I think they will definitely renew it. It's become too much of an iconic show for Comedy Central. When you think Comedy Central, the first thing to come to mind is South Park, the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report which seem like strong, staple shows that they can't do without. Hmm...maybe they should do another South Park movie?
Sharon's segments almost made me pee, especially when she caught shakeweight with another woman. "What's-the-big-deal?"
They'll renew it. But... it does seem like they're been repeating themselves a little the last few seasons.
They need a breather... even if their seasons consist of like 6 episodes, lol. They had an awesome stride in season 8-10.
How much of a breather do they really need? Six weeks of work in the spring and six weeks of work in the fall isn't all that much work. I think as long as Matt and Trey are allowed to work on other projects like their broadway show, I see no reason why South Park can't continue on for years to come.
