Today must be 3D Soundwave day or something. Y'all may remember my 3D Soundwave WIP shots from a while ago. I finally got back to work on it, and got some stuff done, but it's still got a looooooooong way to go. So unleash comments and crits. By the way, I absolutely HATE how the head came out. It looks awful in my opinion. Unfortunately, it was the best I could do...
A) could you turn off the grid when you take a screencap? That'd help. B) You should remember that the chin is a point. If Iwere you, I would take the two corners at the bottom of his face and pull them up about a third of the way towards his eyes. C) Don't be afraid to add detail on the face, even if it is a face mask. Just look at the detail in 20th anniversarry Prime.
My guess would be that as it appears to have been done using an evaluation copy of a £d ap, that's like a watermark sort of thing. I'm liking it, LB; you improve with every model you show. I agree with the head needing attantion, and possibly make the shoulder joint a little less... well, prominent.
That would be correct on the watermark, sadly there's nothing I can do... I really appreciate the advice everyone. It looks like I might have to redo the face from scratch, which will be a pain. Also, don't worry about him being undetailed so far, he's still WAY in the early stages, I hope to add tons more detail as it progresses. Also, the reason for the shoulder-joint being so prominent is that I haven't added colour to it yet, so it's still in the default white. It'll blend in much better once it's done.
