So Soundwave shall finally speak in the next episode due to the whole confirmation he will speak in season and since it hasn't happened yet we can only assume he'll talk in the next one.

It's obvious we'll get Frank Welker to reprise his role.

I don't care who voices him really, hopefully it'll be interesting though.

I don't think it was confirmed he would speak this season.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll be incredibly disappointed if it's just a typical G1 Soundwave like voice.

 

This season, but I'm doubting it nonetheless. Hopefully I'm wrong.

 

I hope that it sounds really high pitched and annoying. Like Mickey Mouse. The fanrage would be hysterical.

 

If he speaks? I say it might not happen. My guessit's a 40% chance. Same guy who did FOC/WFC Sound is my hope.

 

If he ever speaks, it must render all other characters stunned, rend the heavens itself and blow the fandoms mind so hard, it'll take years for all of us to find the pieces of one individual's mind, never mind the whole fandoms.

In short, I just want it to be really, really epic.

So the one character that really doesnt need to speak with get to do so.

But the one character (Bumblebee) who really needs a voice will not get one.

I love the show's logic.....S...A...R...C...A...S...M...!

 

I bet they make us wait til next season...gotta save something for next year.

Welker would be great if he wants to do it....yeah, the fanrage would be crazy if they use a VA that gives SW a squeaky voice.

It would be cool to hear Soundwave say something but if he suddenly becomes a full-on speaking character, that rids him of one of his best traits.

Devil's advocate. First: When was it confirmed that he'll speak this season? All I remember is confirmation that he can speak, but chooses not to.

Second: Soundwave may have spoken last week...offscreen. Starscream had lines like, "Soundwave was just telling me of his backup plan" and "Soundwave has a better idea." (Paraphrased from memory).

 

yeah soundwave probably talked offscreen to starscream. so i'm guessing this whole time he's been talking offscreen when has no choice other than to lol..

Which is what I always want to say as a joke but now I'm geniunely curious about what his "King Koopa voice" would sound like vocoded. Does he even voice characters anymore?


  But a part of me almost doesn't want Soundwave to speak on camera. It's fun to let your mind wander.

But you can totally still be a silent badass after speaking on camera so him speaking wouldn't ruin my favourite part of Prime Soundwave.
