Do you think its possible that Ravage will come back/some of Soundwave's other minions will apear in TF3?
How? Ravage had his spine ripped out of him by Bumblebutt. Anyway Im thinking either Laserbeak or Buzzsaw.
Since the last film went with the clone thing perhaps Soundwave goes around with several copies of Ravage. Of course this is the movies so the Ravage clone might be called LOL Cat. Really the only two used so far have been Ravage and Frenzy so if you dip into the history of Transformers that still leaves lots of minions that haven't been used yet. Or even new minions created just for the movies.
Months after Ravage's death at the hands of Bumblebee, his reconstructed form was brought back on-line in an undisclosed location by a mysterious new master. Subsequently, Ravage appeared outside Guantanamo Bay, searching for a "new target". Ravage snuck in, found the remains of the appliancebots and appropriated them. Ravage lept into the ocean to escape the military, who had located him. Ravage emerged on a beach near MacDill Air Force Base. Though he curled up on the ground to wait for further instructions from his unknown benefactor, he was once again discovered. Ravage destroyed several helicopters before being surrounded by soldiers and jeeps. To bolster his defensive, he unleashed Reedman, and although the smaller robot was eventually taken down, it provided the distraction needed to allow Ravage to escape into a petrochemical plant. Deciding the relatively subtle approach wasn't working, officials at the White House asked the President of the United States for permission to level the plant. As the explosion engulfed the plant, Ravage tried to conceal himself beneath its foundation. Ravage's attempt to survive was mostly successful; his damaged form was still online, waiting in a pit beneath the rubble for new instructions. The remnants of the smuggled appliancebots reached out to him with streams of energy... Tales of the Fallen issue 5 Shortly after, Soundwave, disturbed by Ravage's reactivation, dispatched a quartet of minions (Buzzsaw, Rumble, Beastbox and Ratbat) to investigate. This soon erupted into a conflict with cleanup crews and Autobot reinforcements, which prompted Soundwave to intervene. Although the battle resulted in several casualities on both sides, Ravage was undisturbed.
i say for storyline sake of TF3 either use Laserbeak OR Ratbat, both if it could be done correctly but i still always thought, in some very small way, everytime i saw/have seen ROTF that those 2 Decepticon flying whatevers carrying that Lobster/Shrimp Brain Scanning Creature when the Doctor examines Sam were suppose to be in actuality Buzzsaw & Laserbeak in one version of the ROTF script at some point
I dunno. I like the way they're going now with each Decepticon having a smaller partner buddy. Blackout had Skorponok, Barricade had Frenzy, Soundwave had Ravage...maybe if he had a single partner in the next movie, that'd be nice.
Seriously, I could see Laserbeak/Buzzsaw being Soundwaves new minion for the third movie. Visually, for the special effects, it just seems like the next step for the minion characters. Have one that can fly. Just this monstrous looking mechanical alien condor thing, with turbine engines in it's wings.
Being killed doesn't mean death in the TF universe(s), as Waspinator knows all to well. Besides, cats have nine lives.
If they decide to use IDW, I'd love to see Beastbox and Rumble, especially the latter, I love what they did with 'em.
I'd like to see Soundwave with Rumble and Ratbat. I think they could do Ratbat so well, making him look evil and scary, and cool. Also for this new movie, i hope soundwave actually calls their names before they fire out. Didn't like they way he just shot out Ravage like a missile. He should have been summond.
I don't know about that. That just feels far too cheesy for the films. Like the way anime characters have to call out their moves before they do them. Now referring to one of them by name while giving them orders, that'd be nice.
