are these reissues identical? if not which one matches the original? im wondering specifically about the tape decks. why do they appear different colors? is it just because of different tapes being inside?

first link is the new encore reissue with blue window.

second link is the first reissue in the takara collection line with red window.

both are same mold just different deck windows.

red deck window is the closest to the original.

 

thank you sir. i was looking at buying th emore recent reissue, but i like the look of the red window better.

for awhile i had the music label soundblaster and his window was purple, so the whole thin was just confusing.  

 

Yeah I wish the music label had a red window as well. If you google headmaster soundblaster or d21 was his number you can get a better idea of the original.

 

The original soundblaster always had the Red Window.

Anything else isn't Soundblaster.

 

Stock photos were misleading: Encore Soundblaster has red windows too.

Plus, the Encore one comes with Wingthing and Enemy, automatically making it the better one. Coz of Wingthing.

 

difference is in the decals, they are both red windowed, but the encore has tampos instead of stickers, if you want comparasson pics, i can provide

 

thanks for the help. someone should update those resource pages. the new release does have a red window (and tampos).

 

yes new has red abut the face is different,..the "eyes"...
