I am looking forward to some Miles "Tails" Prower. I just hope the movie isn't - Tails is captured and Sonic has to rescue him. Would be awesome to see Knuckles in the movie as well. Amy can sit this one out.
First Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Production Details Reportedly Revealed The production is codenamed "Emerald Hill" (after the first stage of the Sonic 2 video game) with an in-house production company named Red Energy Films. The schedule, as it currently appears on the Creative BC Film Commission website, has the film in production from March 15, 2021 to May 10, 2021.
I think Amy is way better now, she isn't as obnoxious and her personality now isn't "I like Sonic." I find Cream more annoying, and I like characters like Big and Charmy.
Well I finally saw the first one this weekend so bring on the sequel! Also Jim Carrey back as Robotnik or else!
I'm sure Jim's coming back. He doesn't like reprising previous roles but I think he wants to get even wackier with his portrayal of Robotnik.
Sonic 2: Knuckles’ Role in the Sequel Reportedly Leaks According to The Illuminerdi, Knuckles the Red Echidna will play a supporting role in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which will begin production in May 2021. While details are scarce, it seems the part will be more than just a cameo. Furthermore, he will have the ability to glide and climb walls, similar to his skills in the video games. Paramount Pictures is looking to cast a voice actor who is "serious in nature, but still gullible at times." The studio is also looking to cast a supporting character named Randall who will only interact with the human characters in the film and an A-list star for a quick cameo. Big name such as Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Rock have been thrown around, but nothing is finalized.
