Anyway, I need your help with another one and this one will be more complicated. I've heard a lot of these old hip/hop song's back in the mid 90's while I was attending high-school in Orlando. I've got most of them now and looking for a couple more. Anyway, what really sucks about this song, is all I can remember is the first two seconds of the song found here! I'm hunting for a song, too. It's got a constant, almost tribal drum-beat, over which a female vocalist sings in a rather high-pitched voice not unlike Samantha Mumba's. The chorus features the words "Mambo... (long pause) mambo." Anyone know what it is?
Alas, it isn't. The tempo's nowhere as fast as that, neither is the beat techno-style. It's just some simple drumming that sounds like African tribal drums.
Okay, this song is going to be tricky, but hopefully not as tricky as the first one was. At least this one I've got some lyrics to it. Here we go................. The song is a relatively fast house-dance, electric whatever song around the years '90-95. In the song, a low voice say's, "Dance Mother Fucker, god damn, rrrrrrrrrrrr". I have got a request too please. When you insert the ROTF video game disc into your PS3, a song plays before you press the icon to play. I need to find it, it sounds beautiful.
Definitely NOT any one of those. Those songs are too hard and too fast to be the one I'm looking for. Plus, the tone isn't right. It's ALMOST like house music but not exactly. The voice is almost synthesized and has kind of a laugh at the end like RRRRRRRRRRRR.
How come MUSIC doesn't have it's own thread or catagory? Movies and Television has it's own catagory. Shouldn't music have one? Moderators?
