Just thought I'd check with you guys... I'm having trouble accessing iGear's "we love transformers" main store site. It loads, but then gets stuck loading, and no images show up. Anybody else having this problem?

    This is news, if true.

But the site is still there. It just seems like their java is not working or something.

Oh, and now it's working for me (for the first time in the past 24 hours). Very odd.

So much for that theory. :p

It's still not working right for me...the prices still read rip-off amounts.

Haha! I wasn't sure at first, but I got ya now.

Funny thing... I was just looking at the prices for Takara's new Masterpiece figures and I'm getting the SAME PROBLEM! Do you think there's some kind of virus going around? :p

I wonder how long these companies would last if they offered a "Pay what you want" deal that some artists have used to sell their albums. One week?

Yeah, I ordered from them a few weeks ago and the site was being a bit wonky.

Speaking of which, this was my first time ordering from them and getting a shipment directly from overseas.

Is it normal for the package to have been received in Hong Kong on 12/11 and still show a status of acceptance and not update?

very much so. It will probably be delivered to you and it will still say its in transit from china. especially when ordering from igear, expect a shipping time of at least 3-4 weeks. its pretty much the norm when ordering from them.

The last 2 days it's been slow to load but it works fine for me.

Yeah it's fine. iGear is one person working on dispatching everything IIRC so they'll send you the tracking number once they've packed your parcel and labelled it. Doesn't mean it's actualy left their warehouse though. On top of that the tracking number isn't a true tracking number; it only registers that the parcel has been posted (same as some US postal services).

This time of year it's going to take longer but I've ordered a fair bit with iGear and not once had a problem, so don't worry :)

Yeah, I think it was so slow that it was just taking FOREVER to load, but wouldn't show the loading process... so there would be nothing... and then after 2 minutes, suddenly EVERYTHING. Weird.

I don't really remember what the tracking was with iGear (I've ordered from them a total of 4 times). I seem to recall that it was unreliable, so I stopped watching the tracking. And yeah, things would just show up in a few weeks. I think once I got something in under 2 weeks. That was surprising.
