Hey guys ok so i wasnt gonna do a wip for this but i couldnt resist,this is still in the painting phase and there is some really cool holographic paint in there and some nice chromes and metallics which are an absolute pain in the ass for me to do!.this is not a commission so iv been taking my sweet time haha.

anyhow thought id try something new with the paint app on this much loved and hated custom!

Wow, how rough is it to lay down this type of paint?

 

WTF Sab reference. It forces an instant comparison and I don't think that's fair to the artist, unless they are A) blatantly copying or B) they reference it themseves.



That being said, my absolute favorite customs are Devastators, and this one is shaping up to be quite a unique looking version of the "Classics" Dev.

not to bad if your confident with an airbrush however the preprep for doing the is difficult because it has to be primed glossy black and i mean it has to look mirror glossy so you have to polish it afterwards.put it this way it took me a week just to do the arms with no details!

but the paint its self is real easy,cheers

 

yeah i see your point,i dont see how doing something in metallics/chrome ect makes it like one artist,that said i think sabrinas work is fantastic and i love her style,this for me is a totally different direction for me paint wise as my stuff normally has a way different look to this,cheers again bern for the comments

nice work scotscream. Are you going for the jungle green look? If not, I'll mix the green with yellow to lighten the look. But it's looking good. I can see the shine from thighs. It's not easy to capture the exact image that u are seeing in person on camera right? I bet it looks way way better in person.
