Now, I have noticed this for awhile now but I am curious as to why it is here.

Anyway, my N.E.S.T. Mindwipe has some sort of sticker/label on him where one of his Cybertronian markings are. I am wonder, why? I am also wondering if anyone else has seen this before.

Here is a picture of what I mean.

 

Looks like the tape they "seal" the boxes with.

 

It's probably not there for any real purpose. No doubt it's just some kind of factory error that resulted in sellotape being put on the figure.

That isn't much of a big deal honestly, I'm more annoyed with the fact that a lot of figures of late have these stupid numbers printed on pieces that are visible in robot mode and detract from the look of the figure.

 

To me it looked like there was a mistake with one of his markings so they used a label to cover it. I'll see if I can get it off of him.

EDIT: Yep, turns out it was just tape. Came off pretty easily and fortunately the markings it covered are just fine. I'm glad to be rid of that though.
