I talked to my local Hasbro rep, she said WM Mgrs. weren't letting her put those out because they cover up prices, etc. (but later I saw the larger headers)... Lucky you!!!!
We trashed so much lately including a 5x6 picture of Optimus holding his sword in the Asian forest scene. The scene when he tells Grimlock that he has to stand before him. I tried to grab it but they put it in the cardboard bailer before I got to it. As for these. I'm kind of at a lost of what to do with them for now. Going to be moving soon and I don't think they would make the move. Is there a market for these things?
Neat. Yesterday at work, the room I worked in was pre-purposed for a movie night, so movie posters were everywhere. Winter Soldier, Planet of the Apes, and even AOE.
For movie memorabilia collectors, sure thing... IIRC I've seen them for sale b4 here too....usually Craig's List, eBay, etc.
I got a couple of the large wfc GameStop shockwave-preorder displays. One is on my wall, the other one i sold on Craigslist for $20. It was the large 3d shockwave display that was on the side of standalone game shelfs.
Nice. Although these things always tend to be a bit too big to display a collection of properly. Useful if you want to make your boxed TF collection look a bit more like a toyshop. I've got a few hanging banners from the first BayFormers movie and a promo poster and some shelf-edge strips from DotM. Recently I gained one of these from a local toyshop since they had one spare: Always worth asking if there's anything going begging and/or what happens to the promo signage once the line is over. Often somebody else has already put their name down on them. Sometimes you have to pay, sometimes they just ask for a small donation in the charity pot on the checkout counter, and sometimes you're really lucky and get the stuff for free.
Well since im moving soon and I dont think they would make the move. Does anyone live in the portland oregon/vancouver Washington area? Id love to sell them real cheap. I just dont want them getting tossed lol they are pretty detailed pics. Also the head comes loose from the long banner. So you can have just the head and not the entire long peice with stinger and bumblebee on the end. Would make it easier to display with collections.
Double-sided too. Same picture either side though. Since the other hanger like it featured Optimus I kinda wish it had been 'Bee one side and Optimus the other. Try asking at places that have them. Get to know the staff that run the toy area. Sometimes the promo materials are already spoken for or it's company policy to throw them away or return them, but occasionally you get lucky and can bag one for cheap or even free. These days I very rarely remember to ask, but when I do I get a positive result nine times out of ten. I used to have a massive collection of movie and gaming standees and posters just from asking what was going to happen to them after the promo period ended. Try it for yourself.
