    What do people really expect? These events happen on EARTH. It would not be realistic is humans didn't get involved in these robot battles lol.

    as tonyformer pointed out, the movie is set i nearth, no doubt miltiary would be involved, just think of it, if in real life we had Decepticons destroying our cities, you can bet your money that the military would get involved to try and kill the Decepticons, it would not make sense if the miltiary did nothing in these movies.
