Will he die in the next episode? (WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS)

Since the preview of the next episode shows Starscream and Megatron standing in what appears to be the ruins of the Autobot base, do you think Ratchet will be killed off in the next episode?

 

I thought Combs said he finish doing voice recording for season 3?

 

No body, no death.

He did. So Ratchet probably isn't going to die.

There are no spoilers in the title though.

EDIT: And this new title is even worse than the old one. Now when someone reads it they'll assume someone in the episode dies, which happened (Dreadwing) instead of assuming Ratchet dies and watching it and realizing he didn't die.

 

Unless he is voicing different characters in season 3. The actor is known for having multiple characters in any show he has worked on....Star trek is a very good example.

 

That title made me think Rachet was going to die.

 

I don't want Ratchet to die, like, AT ALL.

But its a distinct possibility.

Ratchet could die, just to be revived as Perceptor or something.

 

Yeah I really love Ratchet, but if hasbro calls for it then there isnt much the writers can do about it. Hasbro cant get rid of Bumblebee. Like it's impossible to do. Bulkhead can be killed however It can be seen as a little too early. Take transformers animated, none of the main cast died till the finale with Prowl. As the only female lead, Arcee cant be killed either and Optimus is well... Optimus so that cant quite be done either, Ratchet has the same chance of dying as bulkhead however the fact that ratchet is "the guy who stays at the base all the time" he may not be needed for beast hunters. I really hope he will survive though, he is probably my favourite autobot next to smokescreen and it will be a shame to let him go. I still hope it would mean we would get more autobots to fill in for beast hunters though

At this point, the only characters whose deaths I would be disappointed by are Starscream, Knock Out, Soundwave, Shockwave and Wheeljack.

 

I was wondering about what will happen to AIRACHNID herself. I mean, she is in the base right now. If it explodes so does she.

 

She will probably break free and kill Ratchet, pissing off his entire fanbase like with Breakdown.

 

Obviously, I will be pretty disappointed if Ratchet meets his manufacturer. Personally, I don't think it will happen. He has the space bridge right there. If stuff starts blowing up at the base, he can just leave.

Not to mention that the Optimus Maximus commercial, which features Ratchet prominently, is running right now. It would be very awkward if died at this point. Stranger things have happened, though.

If he does die, I hope he dies doing something noble like saving the kids. He's always disliked having them around, and in the most recent episode, he basically told them to go home and leave him alone. If he sacrifices himself to save them, it would be a defining moment for his character, and I think I would be okay with that.

Plus, I have this.

 

Was watching jeopardy, and a question came up with different meanings of the word "ratchet", and "a movie Transformer" was in there. And it made me sad. Ratchet had better do something noble or worthwhile, or I'm gonna go apeshit.

 

Perceptor has already been mentioned in the show as a separate person.

 

Maybe they could bring in Red Alert if Ratchet is killed off.

I don't think Ratchet will be killed off, but never know either.
